First Look – Supernatural’s Jim Beaver on Dexter!

Last week’s Supernatural made Bobby fans—and who isn’t a Bobby fan?—all misty eyed with the continual references to the Hunter’s head Librarian. It was a bit painful to watch.  On one hand, it was great to see Bobby’s hole in the Supernatural universe get the attention it deserves;  on the other hand, it also highlighted how utterly impossible it will be to replace him.  So far there is no word on when, or if, Bobby will return to Supernatural, but this morning we got our hands on some intel that will be of interest to Jim Beaver fans. Dexter spoilers ahead!  Be careful!

Remember last summer when Jim Beaver tweeted that he was in talks for a role on Dexter?  Well the first promo pics and the identity of his character have arrived on the scene.  Jim will be playing the part of Clint McKay, obviously a relative to Yvonne Strahovski’s Hannah McKay, and it wouldn’t be a huge stretch to assume he is player her father.

As for the story details, there is nothing but these two pics of beaver from episode 7.10.  No word on if he will appear in further episodes, or what he will be doing in this one. More info as it becomes available.

I don’t know about you, but if we can’t get more Bobby on Supernatural I’ll take a little Jim Beaver where I can get it.  Congrats to Jim and Dexter!
