I think it's just one big PR stunt to try to get people to buy the DVDs. They're probably seeing a decline in sales due to the economy, so they're trying to jump start again.
I think there's going to be a lot of information on LU.org, we'll just need to weed through all the advertisements in order to find the things we don't know yet.

![]() I agree with all of the above post. I sure hope not. I mean, I'll have a Blu Ray player by the time it comes out, but still I like the online ARGs. I've had a blast with all of them. |

It's still not clear whether we'll need to buy the Blu-ray to participate in the core aspects of the game (or the experience, or whatever it's called).
There were some posts from a "Carlton" and a "Damon" on the LOST University site forums, giving assurances that they would find alternate ways for people to participate, but those were probably just forum users fooling around, not the actual producers. I hope Disney does make the core parts of the experience available to everyone online. I don't mind if they put lots of extra bells and whistles on the Blu-ray -- that seems fair enough -- but after all the teasing they've done about LU, I don't think they should leave us non-Blu-rayed folks completely out in the cold.
