Heroes starts up again on Monday, September 21st with a 2 hour premiere. I'm keeping my fongers crossed that the showrunners can pull Heroes away from the abyss it seems to heve been staring down into for the past 18 months. ;(
Episode 4.01 Orientation Episode 4.02 Push Jump Fall You can read Sam McPherson's preview of the upcoming season on our homepage. Last edited by Pixie Wings; 08-30-2009 at 06:40 PM. |

\O/ Heroes is back! While I myself have not yet seen the episode, Everyn has- and you can catch her recap here. Thanks, everyn!
(I think Heroes will be my middle of the night watching tonight...can't wait!) eta:Just finished watching- I'm not exactly underwhelmed, but the episoide just felt like an episode, not a season premiere. I thought it was kind of an interesting twist, having the travelling heroes be carnies, since most of them could be/are construed as circus freaks. Tattoo power- not so sure about that one ![]() Oh Peter- have a little god complex, do we? Should we call you Clark Kent? And keeping all his press clippings, and an exact daily tally of lives saved? Oy. But you have filled out nicely over hiatus, so I'll overlook that little character flaw ![]() Gretchen is kind of sketchy- I don't know whether she is a hero, or an anti-hero. (I have to say that I am happy that room mate bought it so quickly- I couldn't have watched her for much longer) I think I have to re-watch the season finale, because I'm not quite sure why "Nathan" doesn't realize that he is Skylar. So, not a total bust, but IMHO a very long way from "5 years later" and the B&W episode about Bennett's beginnings (the ep name is eluding me at the moment). Question for die-hard Heroes fans: Did Nathan not die last year and Sylar just shapeshift into his form? If so, then how then did "Nathan" have all deadNathan's memories?

Episode 4.06 Tabula Rasa
from TV Guide.com: Quote:
eta: the episode just finished- Can anyone tell me what Samuel's powers actually are? And what the hell he is up to? I like Emma so much better on Heroes than on her old show "Sue Thomas F.B.Eye." Seriously. (Not a stellar moment in Canadian television.) I am trying to figure out what good her powers are, if no one can see them, and they affect no one but her. It was so weird seeing Sylar all vulnerable and not evil. Until he was again. That Rasta dude seems to have the exact opposite ability of The Haitian. And for the worst moment of the episode- Peter coming back to life after being shot. WTF was that supposed to be- the writers couldn't think of anything to have him say? I hate when TV shows make me feel embarrassed with their stupidity. On the up side...not that I was looking or anything- but when Sylar was getting dipped- in those revealing white pants? It appears he has been, er, endowed in other ways as well

I could not get into this episode at all. Truthfully, the season is really not holding my interest- I no longer tape each and every episode, and I have it on but pay little attention.
Next week we have Episode 4.08 Once Upon a Time in Texas, and clarissa has posted a sneak peek on our home page. *since I love Hiro and fear he will not be around much longer, I will be sure to watch this episode
