I think it's just one big PR stunt to try to get people to buy the DVDs. They're probably seeing a decline in sales due to the economy, so they're trying to jump start again.

I think there's going to be a lot of information on LU.org, we'll just need to weed through all the advertisements in order to find the things we don't know yet.

You shouldn't say that there aren't going to be any answers, since you're not writting the material for the LU. That's a pretty preconceived idea, and even if we don't get any intel on the statue or anything like that, i'd still put a smile on my face to learn about how parent issues affects characters. And Dollhouse rules all!. Even True Blood is no match for it. I just hang on to LOST because it's the only thing left for me in television, and next year on i'll probably have another good show to watch. Just waiting for Flash Forward to premiere.
I fixed your post for you.

I agree with all of the above post.

I sure hope not. I mean, I'll have a Blu Ray player by the time it comes out, but still I like the online ARGs. I've had a blast with all of them.

It's still not clear whether we'll need to buy the Blu-ray to participate in the core aspects of the game (or the experience, or whatever it's called).

There were some posts from a "Carlton" and a "Damon" on the LOST University site forums, giving assurances that they would find alternate ways for people to participate, but those were probably just forum users fooling around, not the actual producers.

I hope Disney does make the core parts of the experience available to everyone online. I don't mind if they put lots of extra bells and whistles on the Blu-ray -- that seems fair enough -- but after all the teasing they've done about LU, I don't think they should leave us non-Blu-rayed folks completely out in the cold.
