The new Doctor Who has begun filming today in Cardiff, Wales and as such we get a glimpse at the new Doctor's new look.
Matt Smith's Doctor look includes a bowtie, brown jacket, black boots, and a smart light brown shirt.
Also revealed today is the name of his companion. Karen Gillan's character will be known as Amy Pond, another very memorable name from new showrunner Steven Moffat, the man who brought us the names River Song, Sally Sparrow, and Jack Harkness.
There is currently no news on whether Amy will have a family, or whether we will meet them if she does.
Filming will continue till March 2010, the same date that the new Who is due to air in the UK.
