If you thought you couldn't get any more excited for Doctor Who's fifth series, then you haven't watched this trailer. It was released by the BBC today, and it features some insanely cool special effects, which feature the Weeping Angels, the Daleks, and a strange skull-looking object that I'm not familiar with (if you know what this is, please fill us in though the comments section below). It's not a scene from the series (at least, I don't think it is), but it obviously has some elements that will appear in the series. Overall, it's an insane promo that doesn't make a lot of sense, but it gives us a surreal look at the excitement that series 5 will undoubtedly entail.

If you're referring to the creature that burst out of the ground at the end of the trailer, to me it looked reptilian, so maybe it's a redesigned Silurian as they are supposed to be in series 5, that's what it looked like to me, some sort of lizard person
