Every season of Doctor Who has an overall arc, whether it's "Bad Wolf" for season one, "Vote Saxon" for season three, or, most recently, the cracks in time for season five. Nobody knows where the cracks came from, but they have the ability to erase people straight from history-- as if they never existed!
Take for instance Rory, Amy Pond's boyfriend. The poor guy was not only shot to death by a Silurian in the denouement of "Cold Blood" (part two of the Silurian episodes), but he was sucked into the time cracks and was forgotten by everyone but the Doctor (because the Doctor's a complicated space-time event).
These cracks have been linked to something called the Pandorica, which the Doctor seems to believe is just a myth, despite being reminded of the mysterious thing by Prisoner Zero in "The Eleventh Hour" and by River Song in "Flesh and Stone." But, as we know, the Doctor can be very, very, wrong, and in the case of the Pandorica, he most certainly is.
Why? Well, the penultimate episode of the season is called "The Pandorica Opens." I don't know about you, but that seems like pretty solid evidence to me. There are also some photos from the episode. Now, photos are usually placed in the gallery, but these were absolutely just too spoilery for me not to keep them all to myself.
The Pandorica appears to be a giant collection of all of the Doctor's worst enemies. That's right -- the Daleks, Cybermen, Sycorax, Silurians, Sontarans, pilot fish, Judoon, and the Hoix are all going to appear, as well as creatures from spinoffs Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures. You can see all these creatures in the photos below.
However, there appear to be Roman soldiers around too, and -- if I'm not mistaken -- that's the back of Rory's head in one of the shots. Could it be that the Pandorica comprises of everything that's ever been sucked into a crack in space? Could it be that Rory's alive and can be rescued? Let's hope so.
Rory died before being absorbed, so even if they find that everyone sucked in is put in this "pandorica" then all that means is they'll find a body…
[...] And here are four photos from the finale, “The Pandorica Opens.” People say you can glimpse Rory in one of the Roman soldier crowd pics, but I haven’t spotted him yet. [TV Overmind] [...]

"The poor guy was not only shot to death by a Silurian in the denouement of "Cold Blood" (part two of the Silurian episodes), but he was sucked into the time cracks and was forgotten by everyone but the Doctor (because the Doctor's a complicated space-time event)."Thats not the reason the Doctor doesn't forget him its because Rory isn't a part of the Doctor's world. Him being a complicated space-time event was stated in Flesh and Stone is because he was the only one thing that could close in and that it would take all of the Weeping Angels to close it.
he remembers rory because the doctor exists outside space and time
the doctor remembers rory because he exists outside time and space he remembers all that was all that is and all that will ever be
Judoon aren't enemies of the Doctor. They're a mercenary race hired by the Shadow Proclomation to police the universe. As for that being the back of Rory's head. Just looks like one of the Romans without his helmet, note the purple paludamentum, as sported by the other soldiers.
Remember the last part of End of Time. Rassylon condemns 2 timelords to "stand as the weeping angels of old" …. my money says the timelords become the weeping angels
River song is some how involved in this story as well as the slitheen sontarans daleks cyber-men hoix and a few other baddies. It appears that all that stuff about the end of the universe is revolved around amy and rorys wedding day. Another big spoiler is that the doctor has been seen handing a shiny metal object and a small book towars river song could this possibly be the doctors sonic screwdriver and rivers diary?…
All the aliens mentioned above are only mentioned because they all came to earth at that particular time because of the Pandorica. They're not in it, because then River wouldn't of said it. Also, Does this happen before or after the Flesh and Stone episode? They obviously pick her up from the fiftieth century before they go back to rome.Unless they SHE used a time machine because according to Cpt. Jack, He's from then and that's where he got his pogo-stick time machine.
I have a respectable theory. The Doctor, River Song and Amy travel to Stonehenge and the doctor sonics the Rocks and creates a pathway to underneath. They go underneath. They come to the room of the pandorica. The doctor examines ancient glyphs on the side of the pandorica and reads them out. "There was a goblin, or a trickster or a warrior, a NAMELESS, terrible thing. Soaked in the blood of a million galaxies, the most feared being in alll the cosmos. Nothing could stop it or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world." Then it starts to open, and the daleks, cyberman, hoix, sontarans judoon and roboforms storm in. A cyberhead attacks amy and roman soldiers grab the doctor. He looks back at the pandorica and inside it is a seat. Then he realises that he is the goblin, the warrior, the trickster. he is the destroyer. Then, the aliens strap him into the seat into the pandorica and it kicks in. Everything of the doctors is destroyed, his tardis his bowtie, everything. Except his sonic screwdriver. Which is now rightfully RIVER SONG's. The seat the doctors strapped in will hold him forever. the pandorica will shut as the last time lord perishes, the stars go out as there is now noone to control them. Which explains the synopsis: The doctors gone, The tardis is destroyed, the universe is destroying, its only hope is a little girl who still beleives iin stars. Obviously that is amy. Which now explain that the message given to the doctor last season by his friends: The darkness is coming, The stars will go out. Was not to do with davros but the pandorica.
slightly wrong but close, the doctor got trapped in the pandorica because EVERYONE he ever had fought believed that he started the cracks because he had control over the tardis which was going to blow up with river song in it. So mainly its a misunderstanding between the bad guys and the doctor. BUT who is playing the cards, who is causing the tardis to blow up? Could it be someone good, bad or maybe timelord, maybe omega. But if it isnt one of his old enemies could it be someone new? WE SHALL WAIT TILL NEXT WEEK!!
Apparently its thought Rory is an Auton so when he was consumed by the crack a new version of him was released with the other Romans near stonehenge since all that was forgotten would have been the original auton version ie only Amy forgot since she may have been the only human in Leadworth…I wonder where the original Rory is?
