Today at the Cheltenham Screenwriter's Festival, the BBC Wales Doctor Who team announced that the first of the remaining three episodes of David Tennant's reign; The Waters of Mars, will be aired on BBC One on Sunday November 15th.
The episode, which is standalone, but leads into the final two-parter is set in the Year 2059 on Earth's first off-world colony, and features an aliens that use a water compound to infect its victims.
The sixty minute special will be followed over the Christmas holiday period by the two part episode The End of Time, which will see the Tennant's Doctor regenerate into Matt Smith's and feature a host of companions and former cast members from all three shows in the "Whoniverse". The first part of the End of Time is due to air on Christmas Day. The second part has currently not been scheduled, but is expected to air on or near to New Years Day.
UPDATE : BBC America have announced on Twitter that the US airdate for Waters of Mars is Saturday December 19th at 9pm ET/PT

Personally i think david tennant is one of the greatest Doctor who’s of my generation that is, i dont think they should give him up yet he should keep going. He is a great actor and should keep up his Doctor who character.
