Tonight on Doctor Who: Episode 6.08 "Let's Kill Hitler"

Doctor Who series 6 returns tonight on BBC1 in the UK and BBC America in the US. The midseries premiere is titled "Let's Kill Hitler."

The episode, which follows June's "A Good Man Goes to War," follows the Doctor, Amy, and Rory as they attempt to find Amy and Rory's daughter Melody Pond (who will one day grow up to be River Song). The TARDIS accidentally crash-lands in 1930s Berlin, however.

"The Doctor comes face to face with the greatest war criminal in the Universe," the official synopsis for the episode states. "And Hitler."

"Old friendships are tested to their limits as the Doctor suffers the ultimate betrayal and learns a harsh lesson in the cruellest warfare of all," the synopsis continues. "As precious time ebbs away, the Doctor must teach his adversaries that time travel has responsibilities. And he must succeed before an almighty price is paid."

Albert Welling will guest star as Hitler, while Alex Kingston will reprise her role as River Song.
