4. Fox Already Screwed Up Once with Whedon...Firefly
That's right, Fox has already had it MONUMENTALLY stupid moment, and surely history can't repeat itself so soon. For those of you new to all of this, Whedon's third show, Firefly, was taken over by Fox, Hitler-style, and not only pre-empted more times than Fringe has been this season, but it was also shown out of the intended order that Whedon himself insisted upon. When the series ended, and the DVD came out in the correct order, the series became a HUGE cult hit, even spawning a movie, Serenity that many sci-fi buffs still tout as one of the best sci-fi films ever. Add to that the fact that Whedon swore he'd never work with Fox again after that, and the fact that he has now agreed to do Dollhouse with them, and I say no way Fox screws him over again, and doesn't give this show a second chance. I mean, they put it on Friday night's for crying out loud.
