Lily, I agree that Penny is up to no good. The why is what I need to get down to.

Martine, I don't believe in the popularity race in high schools, because it's pointless at the end of the day. I pegged Mia to be more down to earth and not into the whole popular thing and I am disappointed at her actions last week. Now what is realistic is that if parents, like Roxy, are branded as the social outcast of a small town, then chances are that the townspeople will not want their kids to hang around the daughter of a modern Hester Prynn. That isn't always the case, but it is plausible. And it saddens me that we teach our kids that certain people are not good for our or their "image" and that it's not OK to be different. How far have we really come when we have to instill some sort of prejudice within the minds of our children and deem it OK?

It wasn't Joannas idea to do the story, it was Pennys. She is the one that pushed it on her, and then couldn't care les when Joanna got in trouble. Penny is obviously only Joannas friend so she can get to Darryl.

Yes,Really, Mia. I certainly think what Mia said is probably realistic. Whatever they think of Roxy, and I don't think it is that she is a slut. I think that people see her as a bit wild at best, excluding some post menopausal women, naturally. Mia is clearly popular, and we both know that it is nearly impossible for a girl like Mia to date someone like Josh in high school without ruining her life. So get off the high horse and realize that the show is only telling the truth. It may make her seem like a big ass, but it certainly does NOT as you said make her seem delusional, and yes, if people found out she was talking to Josh it would VERY quickly become her biggest problem.
Oh..And once again, Penny is a snake.
