Enlightened 2.02 Preview: Let's Take 'em All Down

Enlightened Season 2On last night's second season premiere of Enlightened, Amy might have found her salvation in Jeff, a well-known reporter who could potentially take her case against Abaddonn and turn it into a huge deal with one front page story. All it'll take is hacking back into the system with Tyler's password and finding evidence about the government bribes they've been making, but Amy and Tyler wouldn't be able to go against a huge multi-national corporation like Abaddonn completely undetected.

The next episode of Enlightened finds the breach of Abaddonn's security being exposed when several executives aren't able to log into their e-mails properly. With Dougie becoming even more paranoid and aggressive in his search for the culprits, Amy and Tyler will have to be careful and keep a much lower profile, at least while they're on company grounds. They may be resigned to the fact that they're going to lose their jobs regardless, so they might as well go down swinging, but there would be serious consequences if they're caught before the article from Jeff comes out.

Elsewhere on Enlightened, Krista has a complication with her pregnancy, which, according to the preview (below), Amy might have wished for. Amy has been pretty steadfast in her hatred of any and everything Abaddonn since the last few episodes of the first season, but will the threat of someone actually being hurt be enough to soften her stance? Or has the treatment she's suffered from them, in addition to their egregious crimes against the environment, hardened her?

Enlightened airs Sundays at 9:30 on HBO. You can check out full descriptions of the first three episodes of the eight-episode season here.

Do you think that Amy and Tyler will be able to take down Abaddonn? Will Dougie eventually catch on to what they've been doing? Is Jeff the best ally for them to have right now?
