Five Things You Didn’t Know About Eiza Gonzalez

There is nothing like a hot and steamy kiss with one of Hollywood’s most praised and adored studs, Liam Hemsworth. Liam and his older brother Chris have been taking Hollywood by storm for some time now and their momentum does not appear to be slowing in the slightest. With that being said, is the new love interest of Liam has massive benefits for a little know Mexican-born aspiring actress and singer, Eiza Gonzalez. Well, at this point the “little-known” part of the description no longer applies. Everyone knows she exists now. The thing is most people know very little about the gorgeous actress that has snagged the attention of one Hollywood’s most eligible bachelor’s. Here are five facts that should help you become more familiar with Eiza Gonzalez.

1. She Has Star-Status in Her Native Mexico

It America, it can be easy to get caught up in our little world and forget that there are worlds and cultures outside our own that do quite well. This is the case when it comes to Eiza Gonzalez, who is quite famous in her native home of Mexico. She achieved stardom at the age of 16 as the lead character in “Lola… Erase Una Vez,” a Mexican telenovela (soap opera). Since then, she has starred in five other Spanish television series.

2. She Has Showbusiness in Her DNA

As it turns out, Eiza is no stranger to the spotlight. Her mother is the famed Mexican fashion model, Glenda Reyna. Reyna had an exceptional career as a fashion model and she is currently serving as a Judge on Mexico’s Next Top Model, which is a very successful Franchise owned by Tyra Banks. It is not clear how much of an influence Glenda has had on the development of Eiza’s career, but it is safe to say that the exposure she provided her daughter was highly influential in the path she has taken.

3. She Is Multitalented

Not only has Eiza carved out a nice path as an actress in Mexico, but she is also a gifted vocalist with aspirations to make her imprint on the music world. Eiza has already released her debut album. In fact, her first album was released in 2009. Her sophomore album was released in 2012. Balancing two different careers in entertainment is no easy task; only a few have mastered it. I am betting that Eiza joins the ranks.

4. She Has Crossed Over

While Eiza will always be attached to her Mexican roots, she has made the leap to become a member of the Los Angeles community — insert Hollywood. According to one source, Eiza’s move to Los Angeles was primarily to pursue new opportunities in the world of acting and music. It seems that she has already cashed in. Director, Adrian Cervantes has already cast the star in one of his upcoming comedies entitled, All Hail the Squash Blossom Queen. Things are off to a good start.

5. This Isn’t Her First Brush with Love

While her recent tryst with Liam Hemsworth has social media and the tabloids buzzing, this is not Eiza’s first encounter with the idea of love. In August of 2013, the actress and singer called it quits with her boyfriend, Pepe Diaz, a Mexican Businessman, after a two-year relationship. After the breakup, she tweeted, “love is our greatest happiness and pain” in this life. She also followed that tweet by saying that she will always choose to love.
