Five Things You Didn’t Know about Jesse Waters

Sometimes it’s hard not to be increasingly negative about a person when you read what they’ve done and what they seem to be proud of. But as Jesse Watters has proven every person is different and everyone has their own way of conducting their life. The positive notes of his life have largely to do with his job and how he’s a real go-getter since he’s been moving his way up through Fox News since he graduated college. It seems fair to say that he’s the kind of guy that knows what he wants and finds a way to go and get it.

In more ways than one.

5. He’s been in a spot of trouble for the kind of commentating he’s done.

A few of his spots have landed him in a bit of a pickle when he’s been on the street talking to people or making speeches in front of a crowd. One good example has to do with a segment of Watters World that had him being highly disrespectful to the Asian American community in New York’s Chinatown district. He would actually ask people if he needed to bow, would inquire if they knew karate, and had Kung Fu Fighting playing in the background. That doesn’t seem too wise for this day and age.

4. He joined Fox right out of college as production assistant.

After graduating from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, Watters joined Fox News as a production assistant and then in 2003 he moved to the production staff of The O’Reilly Factor. By 2004 he was appearing on the show fairly regularly, and by 2014 he was co-host on a show called Outnumbered.

3. His wife filed for a divorce in October 2017.

Noelle Watters filed for divorce after it was discovered that Jesse had been having an affair with Emma DiGiovine, a producer working on his show. After the divorce proceedings were filed Jesse fessed up to Fox and they put DiGiovine on another show. As of now they’re still dating and he doesn’t seem to have much remorse for what he did. There’s a lot that isn’t being said about the relationship with Jesse and Noelle so it’s wiser to hold onto any judgment.

2. He’s a very macho kind of man.

Jesse has a very macho attitude and it seems to work where he’s at as this kind of mannerism is encouraged in some regards and even tolerated in others. This kind of attitude doesn’t seem to fly in other areas but here it seems to help him excel. There’s a lot of people that would have something to say about this but the chance that this will get him in trouble is kind of assured as he doesn’t always seem to think before talking. It’s whether Fox will allow it to continue.

1. He’s not that great at making heartfelt apologies.

After offending the Asian community in New York and then even offending Ivanka Trump at one point he’s made half-hearted apologies that seem more like explanations of why people shouldn’t be so thin-skinned. This is definitely the macho part of him that people talk about, and it’s unlikely to change if it hasn’t by now.

He got to where he is for a reason, but it’s not for anyone else to assume what that reason is.
