According the New York Post, the one week suspension that Tomi Lahren was supposed to serve for taking a pro choice stance on The View will now be a little longer than that. It’s been upgrade to “forever.” Only three months ago Lahren was a staunch pro-life supporter and even went on a tirade on her show calling abortion “murder.” However, when she appeared on the view she completely flip flopped arguing against that very ideology.

Many people are speculating that Glenn Beck is reminding everyone that The Blaze is 100% conservative and will no tolerate any other view on its network. But in reality, Lahren’s contract ends in September. Her popular is sure to get her a higher paying higher profile gig, so perhaps Beck was just beating her to the punch. Many are also speculating that Lahren’s lightening up of her political views are setting her up for a spot on a much more liberal and mainstream show.
We’ll probably never know the real answer but I don’t think for one second anyone ever thought that Lahren truly carried that far right views that she claimed she did. There’s a reason she went on the Daily Show and Real Time With Bill Maher. She knows how to market herself and she also sees the success of another smooth talking beautiful blond on television: Megyn Kelly. Lahren is trying to take that exact route and you can’t blame her.
