UPDATE 5/31: As this article is still getting responses, I feel the need to redirect readers to this article, which confirms FlashForward's cancellation.

FlashForward probably won't get a season two, especially if ratings stay as low as they were for the two hour episode "Revelation Zero," which aired last night. Despite haveing very little competition (FOX and the CW both were airing reruns), FlashForward managed to gather only a middling 6.61 viewers in the first hour of the episode, and dropped down to 6.49 viewers by the second hour.

Sure, the ratings aren't as bad as a show from, say, the CW or TNT, but for a show as expensive as FlashForward, these ratings are downright awful. Unless the next ten episodes of the season see some dramatic improvement, it's unlikely that we'll see another year of flashforward, meaning that the writing team will have to wrap up loose storylines before their already-ordered season ends.

It's such a shame, too, because FlashForward was so good last night. In fact, it was the best episode of the series thus far, both in character development and mythological advancement. Much needed answers were given, and the show should have thrived among viewers. Why didn't it?

The long, long break between the last episode of the show and last night's episode of the show was massive. "A561984" aired on December 3, and it was a nearly four month break before the show's March 18 return. Viewers are likely to forget about shows over that length of time, especially the more casual ones.

If FlashForward is indeed cancelled (which is looking like a very likely scenario right now), then ABC's other sci-fi offering V, will look very safe for a second season. Of the two, I like FlashForward better (especially after last night's redeeming episode), and I would much rather see V go.

What do you think? Should FlashForward stay or go? Should we start sending friendship bracelets to ABC? Or would you rather just let it die so that V can live?

I'd love to see FF cancelled!I want a second season of V! I mean, it has Elizabeth Mitchell!

  2. kittratty says:

Aw, dammit! I forgot to watch this last night! I liked the first ten episodes! Hmm. I don't know if it should be cancelled. Depends on how last night's episode went, I guess. It's not the greatest show I've ever seen, but it was certainly interesting!

  3. CandyMaize says:

I enjoy FlashForward, and you're right – last night was great. I don't want to see it canceled.

  4. I agree that the ratings were bad news, but I think we have to wait to see how the DVR and online numbers are. As well, the NCAA Tournament started yesterday, and a LOT of the people in the important 18-49 demo were watching that instead of regular series. Lastly, the show has a major global following: FF is very popular in Europe and Asia. Yes, it doesn't look good, but I think we really need to wait to see how the rest of the season plays out and/or we get some official word from the network.

  5. wargamer17 says:

I agree with the writer. I thought last nights episode was amazing! It answered so many questions finally. I hope it doesn't get cancelled, but if it does, I hope it ends properly. V is ok, but of the two, I'm definitely enjoying Flash Forward more.

  6. Mr. Brian says:

I do not want to see it canceled. I love the show and agree that last nights episode was the best of the series. The problem I think was the really long break, I found myself trying to recall what had happened in past episodes. I also think the series took too long to really get going in terms of mythology and development. Sure the primary plot line of the blackout was set out in the first episode, but it took until last nights episode to get the big picture and really dig into what the series is about.I feel that V will hurt due to the long break as well, but to me V has had a better set-up within it's 4 episodes, laying out the everything we need to pick up and keep going, much better than FF had. I just hope if the series is canceled, we are given the answers and a good closure.

  7. kat says:

V started out strong and got really weak. Flashforward was the other way around. I love dominic moignahan or however you spell his name, and the chick with the long brown hair is a surprisingly good actress. They kinda make everyone else look bad. Sometimes the writing on both shows is laughably inane and obvious, though. I would so much rather see Flashforward continue however, because it's more interesting so far. I think it needs at least one more season to really be good– Whereas with V, I think the first episode was all I really needed to see.

  8. Maya says:

FlashForward should definitely stay! This is one of those shows which doesn't make sense unless you've seen every episode from the beginning, maybe the low ratings are because of that… I think if they show the first 10 episodes again (at some other off-peak timeslot!) so that new viewers can catch-up, it would help to keep the show.

  9. Alex says:

When are the networks going to realize they can't put a series on hiatus for 4 months and expect everyone to come running back? Guess what execs, our lives move on. What's the point of promoting a series and having it build momentum in the fall if you're going to throw it all away? You can't expect us to remember (or care) about what happened in a series 4 months ago. If you're going to continue doing this then you should just break the year into 4 seasons, fall, winter, spring, and summer, with each being a self-contained season.

  10. bdubs01 says:

I could not agree more. Once again ABC is screwing up big time. They have canceled so many amazing tv shows because they mess up the scheduling, or move it all around so we can't find it. Hopefully they'll look at the traffic the show gets the next day, or how many people subscribe to it via hulu. No one watches tv during broadcast times these days. Get it together abc! Flashforward is so much better than V!!

  11. Red says:

I'd rather see V survive, it has the more engaging characters, and that will sustain the shows longevity. FF just doesn't have compelling characters, and that's why people don't care about it, regardless whether the concept is interesting. V showed much more potential in four episodes, than FF did in 9.

  12. Sharon says:

I enjoy Flash Forward and have seen all the episodes.I think they're bringing in too many characters. It's a great premise and doesn't need to be so complex.I'd hate to see it go off the air, but look forward to the show resolving the story.

  13. Sharon says:

The episode will be repeated Saturday night at 8 p.m.

  14. Fred says:

The first episode was by far the best, but the concept of the show has a lot of potential and it could be a lot worse. The problem is that it is hard for a show like it to gain new viewers within the middle of the season because it is so complicated if you don't start it from the beginning. I would love to see it return for a second season. V is one of the worst shows I have ever seen in my life.

  15. Clayton says:

For the love of all that is holy, I want it to STAY! It makes me so sad to see it slipping like this, especially after how intelligent the show is. Just like I felt about Dollhouse, it's a bit ahead of its time and the general population of Americans are too stupid to grasp such detailed storytelling. Wise up America! Stop making me loose good shows that I love.

  16. lostmesa says:

Definitely best episode of the show so far. Revelation Zero made me actually want to watch the show again, instead of just following along to see what ends up happening. Like someone else mentioned on here, it may not have had big competition in the main networks, but March Madness was on which is a huge viewer drainer.

  17. kk1010 says:

I vote for flashforwrd! It's one of the most intelligent shows on the air. Hmm. Maybe that's the problem. I admit the December shows were a bit too bleak. But this two hour show I watched on HULU was the best! I can't wait to see more. As for not watching on TV – I didn't even know when it was coming back on. How could I watch? Do they count HULU watchers in the ratings?

  18. JCW says:

I watched Flashforward and have to say that i am not compelled to watch it every week. Not sure what the problem is. Perhaps it does not have the cast nor the story lines like Lost. Too bad because I wanted to get hooked since Lost will be gone in 8 weeks.

  19. Sam says:

v has become rubbish and I love flash forward Plz canncel V but flash forward must stay

  20. stefs8494 says:

    I agreee

  21. stefs8494 says:

    I agree

  22. maelstrom815 says:

    FF>V

  23. James says:

Flash Forward is the only televsision show I have really cared about for a long time and it's going to be lucky to finish the season. Damn, that truly sucks!

  24. Juju says:

I love this show. It is an amazing series and I love it! If I had to choose between FlashForward or V, I'd choose FlashForward. I won't be able to stand it if FlashForward gets cancelled!

  25. Cat says:

No!!! It better not be cancelled! I had planned on this being my replacement obsession when Lost is done! Boo!!

  26. ramjo says:

Flashforward is very good. It would be a shame if it got cancelled. :(

  27. David says:

It seems to that everyone likes this show, yet nobody watches it. I personally think it's a great show and I will be sad when/if it will be canceled. :(

  28. chicken says:

I think FF has been better since the break. V is a pile of crap. I really hope they keep the former.

  29. Watzman says:

I agree … this was a good show. The powers that be should be shot for the long mid-season breaks in both Flash Forward and V. That was simply inexcusable. And, while I am at it, let me add that I have similar scorn for another great new 2009-2010 TV show that will not be cancelled …. "The Good Wife", on CBS. A mid-season filled with reruns is almost as bad as a months long break.

  30. godsleftsock says:

I love the show too, but it's kind of ironic that you speak of Americans' stupidity and you spell "lose" as "loose".

  31. Vinny says:

Too much like Lost for my liking. The massive mid season break has cost it a significant amount of viewers if you ask me. Plus the fact is, the show cannot be that good as a good show will always attract viewers back, regardless of breaks.

  32. Brian says:

flashforward is unreal! V sucks. if flashforward is canceled, i will be sad

  33. Renee says:

Out of all the new shows this season FlashForward seems to be the only one that is actually good or worth watching. All the other new shows are either vampire shows or already done comedy shows. I agree though, I believe the reason FF lost many of it's viewers is because of the long break. Most people forgot. And others, considering the hectic schedules with ABC and even CBS(it seems every week they rearrange their shows or show reruns). have no idea where or when it is on. I wouldn't be surprised if many of these new shows, or even shows in their second season were canceled considering the TV networks massive rearranging of shows every week. FF should stay, it's a great show with a great plot. People just need to get back into it, or ABC needs to start advertising more so it could possibly bring in more viewers. I really hope this show doesn't get canceled it has a lot of potential.

  34. marie says:

It is a good show and should be given a chance. We do not need another CSI or Criminal Intent. Creative.

  35. marie says:

keep the show going. Give it a chance. Very creative and good characters.

  36. A. Stafford says:

FlashForward is better than V by far. Better characters, more intriguing plot. It's a shame the network has ruined any chance for this show by poor planning and marketing.

  37. LOST/Glee Fan says:

ABC, cancel V — it started out good, but it soon lost my interest. On the other hand, Flash Forward should stay. It has an interesting concept and has great actors and a great, suspenseful plot. It's one of the new ABC shows worth watching.

  38. Ron says:

I love Flash Forward – It's fresh and has a great cast. If ABC pulls this show I won't have any reason to watch ABC, I gave up on their Nightly News program years ago.

  39. Dave says:

Keep FlashForward, V is a bore.

  40. Jessica says:

My husband and I really like this show, it's one of the few shows we can agree on watching together. With a freshman series, putting a long break in will stall the ratings a bit, but it's a great show that should be given a second chance. Love the characters & the idea is unique and very interesting, I'm always on the edge of my seat wondering what will happen next…keep it going ABC & let it develop, it's a winner!

  41. RCR210 says:

Flashforward HAS to stay!!! I DVR it every week just in case I miss it! It has an awesome plot with great suspense. Sorry but the series V is terrible! I feel like flashforward has a lot of the same qualities of Lost which did very well. Once Lost is finished flashforward is the perfect show to follow in its place. Please don't cancel it!!! It would be a huge mistake!

  42. Nat says:

ABC should cancel V, Flashforward stay!V is too much like another Independence Day, Flashforward is much more suspenseful !

  43. Emma says:

    Keep Flashforward! I can't comment on V since I don't watch it.

  44. From Virginia! says:

I thoroughly enjoy Flash Forward. I don't have television at my home, but I do have high speed internet. I watch it the day after it airs on television via Hulu.com. Do they count those ratings as well? If not I must convert some friends to at least tune in or Flash Forward!! I didn't personally like V. I think Flash Forward has a great plot line!

  45. Gary says:

FlashForward, while slow at first, has really picked up speed and become an awesome show with a sh*tload of potential.V, on the other hand, is total garbage. Most predictable, formulaic, boring show I've ever tried to get into.

  46. wendyashley says:

I began watching flashforward from the beginning mainly driven by couriosity due to two stars from Lost were staring in this new show and with lost windintg down to an end I needed to find something that would be a replacemenrt. I loved the show and the storyline continues to pull me in and surprise the heck out of me. When you have a show that the last seen has you dropping jaw every time, that should tell you something. I surely hope viewers give it a try. Most people I know when I ask if they have watched flashforward, Im told that they don't want to get into another show as long as lost is still airing. I think that when lost is finally over, we'll see viewers searching for a replacement. Most only can commit to one series at a time, Myself, am committed to Flashforward, lost and yes V also. I find myself more intrigued to flashforward than the other 2 at this time due to the incredible storyline portrayed by awesome actors. If I were to choose which I like most it would definitely be Flashforward. As soon as people actually give it a chance, they will be pleasantly surprised and committed.

  47. gtar god says:

v sucks donkeys. it is childish (kinda like saying sucks donkeys. get it get it?) predictable, and probably another drawn out series like lost which started out pretty good then started to drift off into shakey (shut up , i know i misspelled shakey), sloppy scenarios(did i get that right. yup yup yup). thats what happened to x files, jericho,(oops, forgot the k) flash forward will be good if they keep it on a straight line and not confuse us just because they can(like characters moving out as if they never existed or they were never influential). keep flash forward but not forever.

  48. Syl says:

    FLASHFOWARD SHOULD STAY. FUCK V!!!!!!

  49. side78 says:

they better not cancel it it's a good show, love it. keep the show running

  50. Moonstar94 says:

I lost great interest in V after the first episode. I thought it looked interesting, but I never caught up with it. There are just too many things common with alien shows and movies. Very disappointing. I waited a long time to catch FlashForward. I guess I missed when it first started, but I'm all caught up, and I love it! I don't think it's better than Lost, if there are any Lost fans out there, but I think it's up there with it. Suspenseful, great story, full of mysteries and action, as well as drama and comedy. Love all the actors and actresses!!! Though V's actors and actresses did good for what I saw, ABC, please keep FlashForward going, and send V off the air.

  51. chloe says:

    it should stay. period.

  52. JACKIE says:

    SAVE FLASH FORWARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  53. SsueSue says:

I love Flashforward, like many who commented we record and watch when able to. ABC get a clue! One of the best shows out, especially on Thursday evenings.Sus

  54. Bob says:

Flash Forward is the best show around right now. Let V go, keep Flash Forward

  55. SladeKain says:

I hope they don't cancel Flashforward. It's my favorite tv show. I think the problem that tv shows like this have is you really need to catch it from the first episode or you get really behind because the plot and character development has just continued to unravel and go in different directions. Shows like Law and Order and House, you can typically tune in and out and not really miss anything where as Flashforward is like a very long movie broken into hour long segments. It's hard to imagine the show continuing season after season so if it does get cancelled at least we can get closure with a quick finale, but I'd much rather see it continue on and find the same success as 24.

  56. Reooc says:

Flashforward is one of my favorite shows right now. It is creative and interesting. The characters are well developed. It sure beats another medical show or sitcom.

  57. John Williams says:

We really enjoy Flash Forward, but are completely turned off by the actions of the so-called "loving, devoted" wife whose Flash Forward involves having an affair. After a separation from her husband, instead of spending the time in thought (as she said the separation was for), she jumps into the arms of the other man. They didn't take time to build the relationship, they didn't fall for each, they just got together and are off and running. To make matters worse, her husband is doing what he's doing (which led to their separation) because he's trying to protect the world. Meanwhile, she gets in bed with another man. Add to the fact she knew the affair would happen because of her Flash Forward, it only makes her look more like a slut than she is. How can anyone look at her (one of the main women in the show) as a sympathetic character when she acts so sleazy? This completely ruins the show for us because it's so sad that she could be such a lousy person.

  58. cathy says:

Im all for FLASHFORWARD staying!!! I really like it!

  59. Robert T says:

Flash forward should stay. I love the show. Got introduced to it while on a trip to NZ and it was on the air.I quickly found it online via hulu and caught up on the entire season over a weekend. I find ABC also releases it via their mobile app so I actually watch it mainly on my cellphone and online.Great show.

  60. poundingonthedoor says:

FlashForward definitley NEEDS to stay. Television viewings are a tricky thing to gauge a show's success by – what with DVRs, Hulu and such to help someone catch-up later. I didn't think FF would be my thing, when it first came out. I just started watching it a week ago, and have gotten caught completely up, ready for the new episode this week. I'm so hooked on this show, it'll be crushing if it doesn't last. FlashForward really, really needs to stay. Give it another chance.

  61. Frances says:

I really wish that TV series would not be cancelled before the story is done. I loved Joss Whedon's brilliant 'Firefly' and it was cancelled but the fans won out in the end, so at least we got the movie 'Serenity' to tie up the ends. It was DVD sales of the first season of Firefly which triggered the release by Fox to Universal to at least wrap up the story properly as a movie. Once again I have already started watching both Flash Forward and V and I hope that they will be allowed to continue. The really big sales are in the DVD's of shows, especially since in many cases the good shows are not always aired in the correct order, which happened with Firefly. The DVD of Firefly is still a top seller in Australia.

  62. Chris says:

FlashForward is amazing, people in america just dont have time for tv anymore. People that would be interested in a show like FlashForward just arent interested in tv in general. They also need to post all the episodes online so new people can get into the show and watch it from the beginning. No one wants to jump into a show in the middle of the season

  63. Farfalla says:

It should stay.. It is a very interesting show, with an original story and great cast…It was the networks mistake for the low ratings and noone else's. You can't expect your viewers to come running back after a 4 month period, unless you were aiming for a cancellation of the show all along! I hope it stays for a season 2!!

  64. Simona & Val says:

Destroy the V, my husband and I really enjoy FlashForward. It has a lot of potential and really keeps our attention. Questions are being answered as well as formed, so it should definitely stay!

  65. ian green says:

i think that the show v a piece of shit and that flash forward is better

  66. Christopher says:

I prefer V. FlashForward is very weak, and I wouldn't mind seeing it go.

  67. Edie says:

I look forward to watching Flash Forward every Thursday! I'm a big LOST fan and find Flash Forward just as intriguing. After LOST is over there will be nothing great left to watch.

  68. Nikki says:

I watch both V and Flash Forward. I would rather see Flash Forward go on to a second season. I find it to be very interesting. I am surprised the ratings are so low. However, they had an extremely long break right in the middle of the season which can't help, but so did V.

  69. Kemi28 says:

seriosly i didnt get into flash forward until january and i could not find the pilot anywhere. Why the hell wont ABC have the full episodes up when they go on a long break???shows shouldnt take braks anyways because its just bad for ratings cuz i forget about them especially new shows or forget when they come back. Flashforward is a good show. it started off slow but now its picking up and is great so if they cancel it i will never watch an ABC show again cuz lost is ending anyways and i"ll start a group to boycott abc.

  70. Amanda says:

They totally messed up. This is an amazing show, incredibly well written. Its the only show on tv that can give me goosebumps with its shocking plots and revelations- not to mention a really awesome lesbian cop/mole. The longer the show goes on, the more interesting the plot thickens, which is so rare on tv today. I like this show better than True Blood, which is amazing. Its depressing how they think its okay to take a 4 month hiatus in the middle of a season. Why can they just start a show prepared and finish it off in normal seasons like the good ole days?

  71. Natalie says:

Flashforward cannot go, it's my favorite show, I'm obsessed with it.It's called NOT having a 4 month hiatus. When the series came back on, I didn't even know. Nice job advertising! The point is to get people interested in the show. How are we supposed to get into it if we don't even know that it's starting? ADVERTISE ADVERTISE ADVERTISE.

  72. Tony says:

The only reason FlashForward took a 4 month break is because the exec's did not want to compete for ratings against the Olympics. I think in the next few weeks, the ratings will gradually climb bit by bit. Personally, I think that if the show were to wait 1 year for it to premiere, so that it would not have conflicted the Olympics. It will be a darn shame if FF gets canceled. It is probably the best show on ABC's Thursday lineup.

  73. Kris says:

DON'T CANCEL FLASHFORWARD! I love this show. The break was definately a main reason people stopped watching, as expected if you take a show off for 4 months.

  74. Evelyn says:

Just watched 4/28's episode. OMG/ This can't be canceled before it is completed! It is way too interesting. It's sad that the majority of America can't be patient and follow good shows. More likely, the people actually watching are those like me that watch SYFY and remember and return to see our favorites after their hiatus knowing what's in store for us, GREAT DRAMA. Too bad Flashforward can't be taken up by SyFy or TNT that is not worried about smaller ratings but are confident in their shows' power as good drama.

  75. Kaylene says:

Why won't they give a show time to develop? I love flashforward. At the very least they need to complete the program, so they can profit from the DVD sales.

  76. Stacey says:

FlashForward is the best drama on TV right now. I'm a big Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice fan, but FF leaves me wanting more every week. It keeps me on the edge of my seat and so engaged. My husband and I are huge fans and is really the only show my husband watches. I don't think the show has gotten the attention it deserves. Also, the hiatus hurt it as well. People forget about it since it's a new show. It's one of my favorites. Please keep it around!!

  77. Sam says:

I would say V is like a Baywatch for the teen sci fi watcher. It has really bad acting, predictable storyline and is a remake of an equaly bad 80s show (how ever much of a cult following it has). Flashforward is by far the better show and hopefully it will get picked up again.

  78. I'm glad someone agrees with me! Read my comments here: http://bit.ly/Fast_Forward

  79. 3ti says:

i think flashforward is one of the best series that ABC has ever shown!!! i dont get why it got such a low rating,,that's a shame,,as it was given maybe it's beacause of it's long pause… but i realy keep my finger crossed that the show would go on strong…

  80. Rory says:

Flashforward is amazing! If they cancel it I will be very disappointed. Please don't cancel it ABC.

  81. G K Robbins says:

let it die, the show is garbage…

  82. MrDman says:

V was a POS in the 80's and they continued it now. FF surprises me how bad the ratings are, its one of the few shows I even bother to DVR anymore, I mean all this dancing and singing crap is enough to make you want to blow up your tv.

  83. Lissa says:

I agree that Flash Forward is a great show. It actually makes you think- not just about the show but about your own life. I think the issue is the time. I rarely am able to sit down at 8 to watch it, so I end up watching it online over the weekend. Hopefully they look at how many people watch it at a more convenient time before deciding to cancel it!

  84. Steve says:

FlashForward has potential if they get rid of Joesph Fiennes–his acting in this series is terrible. I so dislike his character Mark that I am close to stopping watching the show.

  85. Joaquin (Chile) says:

Please make that flashforward continue it is the greatest serie that I ever watch. Thats mi comment .See yoy

  86. freakygal says:

im a big fan of flashforward..please save the show

  87. Peter says:

Yes!! Hello V and good riddens, terrible FlashForward!!!

  88. cquarcoo says:

I agree, FlashForward is a much more interesting and appealing show in my opinion. I go through withdrawals when I miss it. I mean if they cancel this show it will truly be a shame, its concept is unique and interesting. I cannot think of any other show that is so gripping with such an original story line. V is good as well but we've seen the initial show in the 80's and there is nothing new about aliens trying to infiltrate human life. But the consent of flashforward is just so sweet. I will certainly be messaging all the people I know to watch flashforawd, we have to save this show…

  89. cquarcoo says:

    PLEASE DON'T CANCEL IT!!!!!

  91. Seth says:

I seriously hope the they factor in hulu and netflix into these figures somehow. I never watch tv live anymore, all my viewing is through hulu or netflix, and if you look at the most popular shows, they never match up with the nielson ratings. Not to mention you hear time and time again that the 18-29 age group is the largest target of marketers, and these are the people that tend to watch online.

  92. neecoo says:

I can't stand Dominic Monaghans acting. I dropped out of FF when his character seemed to take over the entire plot of the show after the break.

  93. neecoo says:

The 4 Month hiatus destroyed this show. And the fact, that the Dominic Monaghan character seemed to have taken over the plot since then. I dropped out of FF a few weeks ago. Pity though.

They can't keep doing this to us. They start a show like this then they cancel it, leaving us with mind blowing questions unanswered. I'm about to give up on Network TV. FlashForeward should STAY.

  95. johi says:

I like both shows a lot! I want both of them to stay!!

  96. nickchhan says:

I really enjoy flashforward and V and will purchase them on iTunes just to support the shows. I simple dont have the time to catch it on TV, I make time every few weeks to catch up. Don't cancel them!

  97. Squirrel says:

SAVE FLASHFORWARD!I heard May 27 will be the last show… BOO, I say!Maybe the 4 month hiatus is what caused ratings to decrease dramatically. but the truth is Flashforward is currently one of the best dramatic TV shows on the air. It's a huge shame to see it get cancelled. Please bring it back!!!

  98. Kenyan Fan says:

I LOVE FLASHFORWARD. Especially recently it has been exceptional (almost like they got new writers or something). ABC PLEASE SAVE THE SHOW!!! Finish the story and I can buy my family the DVD.There is so much rubbish on TV. Cant beleive they would cancel one of the best shows.

  99. Guest says:

ABC screwed up by having such a long gapppppppp between episode A561984 and Revelation Zero – just dumb network execs who cannot see beyond the end of their noses. If the show isn't as successful as they would have liked, it's completely their fault. ABC, you are your worst enemy.

  100. Avid Viewer says:

Fantastic Show. I don't watch a lot of TV, but I never miss Flashforward. This is such a great show!!! I think the hiatus hurt it.. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they will give it a chance for season 2. I think it will pick up the 'Lost' fans, now that they've wrapped.

  101. Joseph says:

If they cancel FlashForward, ABC are legally allowed to be called Utterly Retarded.Sign my petiton to keep it.

  102. DougR says:

I agree – my favorite show – I can't believe the ratings are accurate!

  103. some guy says:

In fairness Lost did this with the first season (the last scene being 2 characters looking down the biggest myster of the first season The Hatch, revealing a ladder down)People HATED having to wait for S2 but it kept its viewers, spose the only difference is Lost kept most of its viewers of the first season compared to FF that started to dramatically drop over the space of 10 episodes. If the show is as good as claimed by the 6 odd million that watch it, then the obvious thing ABC would do is promote the s*it out of it.Lost was down a good 9 million (around the 10 million marker) in its last season but cause of promoting it it went up to roughly 12-13 million

  104. ayse says:

just watched the finali please please save flashforward it makes sense to carry in to season 2 pleaseeeee

  105. Michelle says:

I have no idea what to say. I am in absolute love with both V and Flash Forward. I know that only one person cannot impact the writers decision to cancel both of the shows but I think I speak for most of us when i say that none of the shows should be canceled. I know that these shows get low ratings and not many viewers, but in my case, I believe the only reason people don't watch the shows is that they either get the timing wrong for when it airs or if they just miss it on accident. For instance, I NEVER EVER watch my FAVORITE tv shows on tv. The only time i watch anything on tv, is for the olympics or something. The rest of the time, i always watch my favorite shows (such as LOST, Flash Foward, V, Modern Family, etc.) on Hulu or just buy it on iTunes. So, all I'm saying is, PLEASE DONT CANCEL THE TV SHOW.

  106. David says:

It is typical of all the networks, when a good thing comes along they cancel it and put more reality and crap shows on. I love the show and would like to know what the writers were going to do with the rest of show. Please bring it back. The same goes for Heroes, which is on the chopping block.

  107. Oakley says:

FLASH FORWARD OWNZ! taking flash forward off would be a huge mistake…. plain and simple… awesome show, great idea… some actors arent so good.. but the story is good enough to over ride some of the actors…. at the least, make another season to tie it all up…. dont just screw us all over.

  108. Rich Bund says:

Flash Forward is a new and original story with a solid cast (including some Lost Alumni) of actors. The episodes have been fun to watch and I thought for sure this was going to be around for a while… The original V was very lame and the cast was weak at best. Morena Baccarin is a stunningly beautiful woman and will hold attentions for a while, but lets face it, the story sucks, and it's simply a rehash of old badly written crap. Flash Forward is at least thought provoking and fun. It's too late now, Flash Forward was cancelled. ABC has made a bad choice. They should have had a little faith with such a good show and cast and give it another season. Just an example of corporate pinheads and bean counters making the decisions …. too bad, I think I'll watching the SyFy channel, and Fox, and Discovery and forget about ABC until they get some people with an imagination and a pair of stones running the network.

  109. Tiago says:

I´m from Portugal, and I Love FlashFoward. Please don't cancelled the show ABC.

  110. Haylz says:

    FLASH FORWARD TO STAY PLEASE

  111. peter brannan says:

  112. ben campbell says:

  113. YaNeT says:
