As I informed you guys a few months back, an active campaign has been undertaken by fans to "save" FlashForward, ABC's science fiction drama which premiered last fall, but was cancelled in May due to dwindling ratings. The campaign, titled "SAVE FLASHFORWARD!" has been running since that point, and even organized blackouts in front of ABC offices around the world, or urging others to vote for FlashForward as the most wrongful cancellation of 2010 (though they've had to fight it out with Legend of the Seeker fans). They've even taken to calling various networks (including SyFy and Starz) to get the series picked up by another network, a la Southland. They have had no indication of success other than rumors that ABC exec Stephen McPherson (no relation to myself) is "cracking." After all, we remember what happened when Jericho was brought back -- it was cancelled all over again.
Today, SAVE FLASHFORWARD! reported another rumor: Starz might be looking to pick up FlashForward. Well, that's the word on the street, anyway. "I just called Starz and the rep told me that they are agressively (sic) seeking the license for Flash Forward (sic) and that a lot of people have been calling about Flash Forward (sic)," the site reported, according to Scott, someone apparently involved with the campaign.
Fans are being encouraged to call Starz and make the case for FlashForward, an option available through the toll-free number 866-888-4010 (provided by the group). Starz would be in the best position to host the show, considering they recently nabbed star Joseph Fiennes for their new series Camelot. Some fans complain about having to pay for Starz (a pay cable channel), though others assure them that Starz shows are available through Netflix (speaking of which, subscription to Starz might soon become a necessity, thanks to their surge in original programming, including the BBC co-production of Torchwood season four).

Mmm, I sort of would like to watch S2 of FF, on the other hand…. there were quite a lot of episodes where I struggled to keep watching. I guess I would give it another shot.
This would be a huge waste. Flashforward seriously was not very good. Both the ratings and the critics show that. Let it die with dignity.
The Easter eggs in the series hinted of a much larger mythology so yes, I'd like to see the show continue. Very much so!

Sounds interesting, but I wonder how they'd go on with some of the cast members in other projects now. Joseph Fiennes is doing Camelot, and Christine Woods has a sitcom. Hopefully they'd be able to come back if the show did?

I really hope they get it.I loved FlashForward when it was on, and I sent a letter into Stephen McPherson and I made one of those videos. It wasn't the best show ever, and it definitely needed some work (the plot holes were getting to be a bit too big) but it was good enough. It's smart, it's funny (some of the time) and it's got a great cast.I'm not excited about having to get Starz, but I'll get to that when it happens.

I have Starz, and I was actually thinking of cancelling it. I will most definately keep it if FlashForward comes to Starz. I love the cast and I want to see many more seasons of it. My family members watch it and enjoy it also. :) So Starz Please Pick Flashforward up. I absolutely love the show!

Flash Forward on STARZ is better than no Flash Forward! Hopefully the german TV-station (Pro 7) would also buy new episodes or seasons from a pay-tv-channel in the US. Don´t underestimate the money which a producer can earn worldwide by selling the licence to other channels. That makes also a decision, if or if not a show is gonna be picked up.
Legend of the seeker deserves to get picked up much more than Flashforward.
Absolutely! Any network smart enough to host the show is worth the subscription in my book — it's a small price to pay to see FlashForward properly resolve its story!

Flashforward is definitely worth saving. Even my wife and I, who aren't typically tv show watchers, were hooked on this one and were actually quite disappointed when its cancellation was announced. I just don't feel ABC did it justice by airing just 4 episodes then taking 4 months off during the winter when most people are stuck inside wanting to watch tv, then bringing it back after such a long hiatus just as spring arrived and people were anxious to get out after the record snowfall in the northeast this year. No wonder ratings were down. And as far as ratings go, I don't think they are relevant anymore with the explosion of internet viewing here to stay, and many people preferring to wait until a season comes out on DVD so they can watch it without interruptions.
Camelot is being produced by Starz also.
Hopefully they'd be able to coordinate schedules then, but that's still not a guarantee. And Christine Woods and Michael Ealy are both regulars on other shows for NBC and CBS respectively.

I've had comcast cable for years and will definitely subscribe to Starz if they pick up FlashForward.
Flash Forward was easily the best show on TV last season. It's a shame the bozos at ABC destroyed it. I mean, taking if off the air completely for like 3 months in the middle of the season and then expecting people to not lose track of it? I didn't even know it had come back on until my wife told me. Even then I had to catch up through dvr recordings and on-demand orders. Wherever it goes, I'll watch!
I loved Flash Forward and was devastated when I heard it had been canceled and "V" was being renewed!! Oh Phleese!!!! Another network HAS to pick it up. I have to see what happened to Mark. ABC has never been really that smart anyway!!

I agree!!!! Maybe it will take something other than Network TV that's too busy "dumbing" everyone down with all of their mind-numbing reality shows. I'd be willing to pay Starz in order to watch it…Plus, isn't Netflix part of Starz?? Hopefully the exec's at Starz have a few more light bulbs burning than the decision makers @ ABC. It's just really a shame that the ratings don't take into consideration folks that DVR Flash Forward to watch it later, people who watch it online, or people who do (or will) rent them from Netflix or buy them from Amazon. Flash Forward – Rock On!!!!!

I'm part of the Facebook campaign to resurrect FlashForward and badly wish SOMEONE, ANYONE would pick it up. I'm a current Starz subscriber so that works for me. I just want it back. I also want the first season on BluRay, not DVD. This show deserves nothing less than the full HD treatment.
Save Flash Forward
My family loves Flashforward and would like to see it picked up for a second season. We don't currently subscribe to Starz or any other premium channels, but if this happens I most definitely will.
FlashForward was (and, I guess, still is) my favorite show of all time. I was devastated when it was cancelled! I don't care where it ends up, as long as it ends up somewhere!

I would pay any network a monthly fee to be able to see season 2. This was the best show on network tv in a long time!
This is one of the best written shows I have seen since Lost. It has a great cast, entertaining story lines, and has a touch of physical reality (yes, I am a science nerd) that really captivates. It would be a shame to see it go away. So Starz, or any other network out there, get it. Hell, I'll even subscribe to Starz just to watch the show.
PLEASE STARZ!!!! That show was so great and it left on too much of a cliff hanger to never come back. I will pay for your channel and watch the show if it is picked up!

i too agree flashforward was one of the best shows in my opinion ever. i was never a network tv series person not ever…i looked forward every week to this show and would be ecstatic it were to come back, i was so mad when i heard it was cancelled. I HOPE STARZ REALLY BRINGS IT BACK!! i kind of am looking forward to this tourchwood series because it kind of reminds me of something like flashforward and hope its as good
