Fox Announces Winter Premiere Dates: American Idol, The Following and Touch

The FollowingFox has announced the return dates for two shows as well as the premiere date of a brand new – and terrific – series.  The new season of American Idol – with new judges Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban and returning judge Randy Jackson – will premiere in January, while Touch will return for its second season in February.

The new drama by Kevin Williamson, The Following, will premiere in January.  This is a show that isn’t to be missed.  Starring Kevin Bacon and James Purefoy, it’s a fantastic series that pits an FBI agent (Bacon) against a devious serial killer (Purefoy).  The premiere date of the midseason show The Goodwin Games will be announced at a later date.

Thursday, Jan. 17

8:00-9:00 PM AMERICAN IDOL (Season Premiere, Part Two)

Monday, Jan. 21

9:00-10:00 PM THE FOLLOWING (Series Premiere)

Friday, Feb. 1

9:00-10:00 PM TOUCH (Season Premiere)
