Hugh Laurie’s lovable lout of a physician Gregory House will be returning next month, and FOX has issued a collection of promotional photos of the cast to celebrate. Thankfully, Laurie has not forgotten how to scowl. Here are the pics along with a little information on the House season 6 premiere.
The bulk of the premiere episode will take place in the nut house that Dr. House admitted himself to at the end of the season 5 finale. No word yet on how long House’s stay will be, but it seems that quite a bit of the two-hour premiere – if not all – will take place there. Another known is that House will contact Wilson and let him know he is there. Supposedly, the admission is for detox purposes – we’ll see.
There is a ton of day-to-day plot to get back to. The aftermath of Kutner’s suicide is still a fresh dramatic seedbed, and of course there is always the House/Cuddy hook-up. The much publicized Chase and Cameron return should bring a bit of normalcy back to the show for fans who were disoriented by the cast shakeup last season.
House season 6 premieres September 21st on FOX.
