True Blood and Southland Actor to Guest Star on Bones Finale

Kevin Alejandro has appeared in a roster of prime time hits (seriously check out his IMDb page, it's incredible how many he has been on), so what is another one to add to this list. Taking a break from the mystical goings on in Bon Temps, it has been announced that Alejandro will step in to the not so supernatural but still perilous world of Bones, where he will be appearing in the season 6 finale "The Change in the Game".

Some information has been released about the season finale, so be warned that there are details of this ahead if you are trying to remain unspoiled. What we do know is that the crime will take place in a bowling ally and will involve the world of amateur bowling. What makes this all the more compelling is that the victim was a member of the same team that happens to have a certain Max Keenan (Ryan O'Neal) playing for them. Whenever Brennan's dad makes an appearance you can guarantee that there will be hijinks involved, which is all the more likely knowing that Brennan and Booth will be going undercover as trashy bowlers. As their previous undercover assignments in the world of illegal fighting and the circus have shown, Brennan relishes getting in to character and putting her anthropological knowledge in to practice.

So how does Alejandro fit in to the finale? He will play Hercules Maldanado, who in the bowling world is known as The Tornado and Alejandro explains that

"He's a flashy, arrogant man obsessed with bowling, but his skills don't match up. He's sort of his team's dead weight."

Sounds like a possible motive for murder, not that Alejandro is giving anything away and like always in Bones everyone is a suspect, not just the guest stars.

I for one am glad about his appearance in this finale as I am a fan of the diverse characters that he has played in a lot of my favourite shows. From criminals to cops and with even a little witch thrown in to the mix Alejandro has shown that he is a great character actor and a good addition to a show even if it is just for one episode. If I was put on the spot I would say Southland has so far been by personal favourite. Though I'm really looking forward to him as a regular in the new season of True Blood as I think that his relationship with Lafayette is tender but with a lurking element of danger, making it all the more intriguing.
