FOX is probably protecting Fringe from the Olympics, which is gonna decimate everything in its path. Fringe will still air one week during February sweeps, as well as May sweeps – which IMO is the bigger deal, since that's when upfronts are. At least FOX has enough faith to allow Fringe to finish out to May, and not end it earlier. A season finale date in March or April would equal death knoll for sure.
