While I've been mostly disappointed with the lazily done promotional posters that have been released for Fringe season 4 thus far, I can't say I feel the same way about the cast promotional photos, which Entertainment Weekly has released. In a sentence: they look awesome.
There's only one notable addition to the cast this time around, and that's Lincoln Lee (Seth Gabel), who seems to be playing the version of his character from this universe (who we met in the episode "Stowaway"). No photos have been released that feature the alternate universe versions of the characters, including the very important Altlivia (Anna Torv) and Walternate (John Noble).
What's that bubble behind them? I'm inclined to think that it's some sort of force field that springs up due to the bridge that Peter created in "The Day We Died," but it could also be the centerpiece of a mystery, much like the holes in the season 2 promo poster turned out to be.
Fringe will return with its fourth season on September 23 on FOX, with the premiere episode "Neither Here Nor There."
Is it me or Peter is the only one who is walking on 4 steps where everyone else is walking on 3? I'm sure it means something, can't wait for Fringe to come back!
