Are you a fan of V or Fringe? I am in Vancouver this week for set visits to both shows, and will be interviewing several members of the casts for TVovermind!
On Monday, I look forward to speaking with Scott Wolf (Chad Decker), Morena Baccarin (Anna) and Morris Chestnut (Ryan), among others, on the set of V.
UPDATE: Both Joel Gretsch (Father Jack) and Elizabeth Mitchell (Erica Evans) may now be available for interviews as well.
On Wednesday, I will be on the set of Fringe, but at this point in time it is unclear who I may have the opportunity to interview. I will keep you posted!
If you'd like to submit any questions for specific actors/characters, please do so in the Comments below.
All coverage from Vancouver will be spoiler-free.
Question for whoever is able for Fringe well more a comment: Some people who watch Fringe are kinda disappointed that the pattern has disappeared throughout the series, are we going to get back into that more as the season goes along?
If you get a chance to talk to Logan Huffman, can you ask him if we're going to get more of an insight into his character and his relationship with his parents? One of the big problems in the first 4 episodes was that we got to see that Tyler obviously dislikes his mother, but the writers forgot to show us why that is, which is why his character has been having a tough time with the fans.
Jo, that sounds like a great trip.I have a Fringe question: Will we ever see Team Fringe's counterparts/dopplegangers from the Other Side? There is no Other Peter (I think he's dead but I'm waiting for "Peter" to confirm), but why did Other Walter never come over to reclaim his son. The technology is obviously available now. Is Other Olivia a good guy or a bad guy? Other Astrid could kidnap and replace herself and be a spy. Are any of these likely to happen?
I have a V question: One of the big themes of the show is human/visitor relations. I would like to know if we're ever going to get a genuine human/visitor romance that isn't swimming in a pool of lies and deception. I think in order for the audience to get behind a cross-romance couple, it would be very helpful if the human half of the coupling actually knows what he or she is getting themselves into. And by that I don't mean that the human simply knows he's dating a V like Tyler does with Lisa, but that the human knows what a V really is (a lizard hiding behind cloned human skin).
Please ask Anna Torv whether she will do a film during the break.Thank you
V: This show has been called a potential replacement to LOST. Do you think this is an accurate title? There have been reports that this show will last only five seasons. Do you think this is a good amount of time to tell the story? Will we be getting a look at a fully-'skinned' V by the end of the season?Fringe:"Peter" is an episode made of complete flashbacks — are there any plans for more such episodes in the future? What has been your favorite case that the Fringe team has tackled thus far? We've seen precious little of Nina Sharp this season. Why is that? What has she been doing this whole time?Fringe just got renewed for a third season. How long do you see the series lasting?
For the cast of V: How do the upcoming episodes differ from the first 4 in terms of pace, tone etc?
