120_nimoy_111When Leonard Nimoy was signed on to play the pivotal role of William Bell on Fringe's final episode last season, it was no secret that he'd be returning for more episodes.  The actor himself loved the role and the opportunity, and made it clear that he did want to return in season two and the rest of us were like, "D'uh! Of course you have to return."  Thanks to BuddyTV we now have a date on that return.  We'll get to see William Bell back on Fringe and in all of his alternate universe glory on October 8, which will be the forth episode of season 2.  This certainly won't be the last time we see him in season 2.

While the episode doesn't have a title yet (or at least not one that has been released), we do have an idea of what the episode will feature.  Olivia will be part of a new procedure that allows her to return to the moment at the end of last season, where she met William Bell, and we'll get to see more of the conversation that the two shared.  Furthermore, Olivia will continue to search for answers as to her involvement into the experiments Walter and William did on her as a child.

We'll also get to meet another volunteer (and I use that word as lightly as possible) that was part of the experiments as a child.  Finally, to replace the fantastic Mr. Jones from last season, who sadly died in the finale (or so we think), this season will bring on a new nemesis who will rattle things to the core.

Fringe returns with its season 2 premiere tomorrow, September 19 at 9pm (ET) on Fox.
