FX has announced premiere dates for upcoming midseason shows Justified, Archer, and Unsupervised, so if you're in the mood for modern day cowboys, secret agents, and teen shenanigans, you might want to jot a few of these down.
Starting things off will be critical darling Justified, which is set to premiere Tuesday, January 17th at 10:00. The show previously aired on Wednesday nights, but with a new night comes a whole new set of evils; namely, Raylan will have to do battle with two "bad guys" this season as opposed to last season when Mags obviously ruled the roost in Harlan County. Check out some recent teasers for the show here and get to stocking up on moonshine for the upcoming premiere.
Archer returns on Thursday, January 19th at 10:00 after a three episode arc aired in September. If you want to relive Sterling's ascent to pirate king status (and why wouldn't you), be sure to read through Keysha's recaps. Danger Zone indeed. After we touch base with the gang of ISIS, it's time for a new FX show to make its mark in Unsupervised. From the minds of David Hornsby, Rob Rosell, and Scott Marder (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia), Unsupervised follows teenagers Gary and Joel as they live a life free from parental guidance. The first trailer is posted below, but look for more snippets coming the closer we get to premiere day.
Unsupervised will feature the voices of Alexa Vega (Spy Kids), Fred Armisen (Saturday Night Live), Justin Long (Jeepers Creepers), Kaitlin Olson (It's Always Sunny), Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars), and Romany Malco (Weeds), as well as creators Hornsby and Rosell.
Which of these three are you most excited for: Justified, Archer, or Unsupervised? How do you think Justified will be able to follow its outstanding second season? Will Archer and Unsupervised make for a solid 1-2 combination?
