Game of Thrones returns this April, and HBO is finally starting to give us more than mere breadcrumbs regarding its return. This full length trailer for Game of Thrones season four premiered before True Detective last night (which was awesome, by the way), and shows the most footage we’ve seen out of season four by a mile.
It does an expert job hiding spoilers as you might expect, and book readers will know that there will likely be a very big event happening very early on in the season. From this trailer it’s the usual power struggles, but I think I’m most excited by Jaime Lannister’s haircut. Who thought he could get any more good looking?
Anyway, this should prove to be one hell of a season as it closes out Storm of Swords. Do you think it will end where that book ends, or will it bleed into the next one? I’m also very curious as to how the next two books after these will be handled, as they split the characters completely in half for the narrative. What’s the best way to handle that?
