Tonight on Game of Thrones: Meet Margaery and Brienne
Two new characters will appear on tonight's all new episode of Game of Thrones, both of whom are connected to Renly Baratheon: his new wife Margarey, and his guard, Brienne of Tarth.
Renly and Margarey: Catelyn Stark has traveled to Renly's camp to try and persuade the younger Baratheon to broker a peace with his elder brother, Stannis. If such a peace can be achieved, then the Baratheons can help the Starks fight the real enemy: the Lannisters. Meanwhile, Renly's camp is full of activity when one of his soldiers is beaten by none other than Brienne of Tarth, who demands a spot in the King's Guard after she proves herself worthy of the position. We also learn a great deal about Renly's...personal preferences. Fortunately for the wanna-be-king, his wife Margaery proves himself more knowledgeable than one would think, and is eager to accommodate her husband's desires in order to further their cause.
Theon and the Greyjoys: Theon continues to encounter hostility in his father's house when his father and sister continue to question his loyalties. The elder Greyjoy lays out his plan to Theon and Yara and his goals are lofty. But will he be successful?
Sansa: The Stark girl continues to find no peace being under the Lannisters' thumb in King's Landing. But when Tyrion's girlfriend gets a position in her household, will she be able to break through the strong wall that Sansa has put around to protect herself?
Jon: The ranger learns the truth of Craster's household and he is abhorred, but Mormont tries to bang some sense into his young protege so that the members of the Night's Watch don't lose sight of their mission.
Tyrion: The "imp" proves how utterly clever he is while trying to figure out who he can trust among the members of the Small Council. Will a member be more loyal to Cersei than to him? If so, should Tyrion get rid of him in order to ensure that he can attempt to control the family in the capital? Of course, when Cersei gets wind of Tyrion's schemes she lashes out, threatening him with the fact that none of them are really safe in their positions.
Arya: Her journey north is interrupted once again by Joffrey's soldiers, but this encounter proves far more damaging than the previous one.
