GCB Sneak Peeks: Don't Get Eaten By a Bear

If you've been reveling in the soapy, fluorescent pink campiness of ABC's GCB, you're in luck, as there's a double dose of Carlene, Amanda, and all the rest coming tonight.

The first episode ("Turn the Other Cheek") finds Carlene and Amanda going hunting for quail for...goodness knows what reason. You'd think that Amanda wouldn't put herself alone in the woods with Carlene Cockburn, but the former mean girl has been trying to clean up her reputation now that she's back in Dallas. Obviously she doesn't particularly care for former high school classmate, particularly due to how poorly Carlene's acted since Amanda came back, but something tells me there's a little wrinkle to this hunting trip that we're not seeing. Could Amanda be gathering information from Carlene? Or perhaps this came about due to Amanda's connection with Luke, with Carlene trying to "bond"?

Whatever it is, one of the two takes a bullet and knowing the ladies of GCB, I don't think the accidental shooter will live it down anytime soon.

The second episode ("Sex Is Divine") finds Cricket and Blake considering having another child, this time through a surrogate. Truthfully, the relationship that these two have is one of my favorite parts of GCB, so I'm not as turned off by the thought of a new baby as I'd be otherwise. I do wonder, though, who they're going to turn to to carry their child, as none of their pre-selected candidates panned out. Perhaps one of the other main characters will be getting an offer they can't refuse in the near future?

GCB airs tonight at both 9:00 and 10:00 on ABC.
