General Hospital fans know that Jason is just working really hard to move on with his life. He’s turning into a very angry man with a lot of hate in his heart, and we can see why. There is another man in town who has all his life memories and wants to prove he is the real Jason. We can see how that would be a bit stressful and unhappy for anyone, and we can see why Jason would be a bit upset by all this. But what we can’t figure out is why he is focusing so hard on moving on and pretending that this doesn’t exist.
He’s going to tell his wife that the other guy cannot prove he is Jason because he is not. He is the real Jason and he and his wife are going to move on with their lives and forget this is happening. Except all their friends are confused and baffled, and a lot of people seem to think that the new guy is really Jason.
That doesn’t play well for anyone involved in this situation at the moment, so why is he fighting so hard to make it all go away rather than just looking for the answers he needs? Is he in denial? Does he suspect whatever is going on might mean he is not Jason and this is not his life and this is not his family? Well, it’s obviously his baby, but that’s going to open a whole new can of something sketchy.
