Glee returns for its third season on Tuesday, September 20 on Fox. The show has had a busy summer, between a concert tour, behind the scenes drama, and a 3D concert movie that ended up flopping at the box office. But none of that could matter when the show returns if it digs in its heels and comes out swinging with a terrific season.
We know Chord Overstreet's Sam won't be returning next season, but we know there are some big storylines in store. Expect Mike Chang to get more exposure as his parents are introduced. Mercedes will be getting herself a new love interest. Finn and Rachel will be back together. Idina Menzel will be returning as Shelby Corcoran for 10 episodes as a new teacher at McKinley High. High profile guest stars will be scarce this season and you should expect fewer tribute episodes.
