ELLE Magazine's creative director, Joe Zee, recently sat down with Matthew Morrison, and spoke to him about his roots on Broadway and why Matt thinks that Glee is so likable and popular. He also reveals that he will be releasing a solo album and while the interview doesn't go into too much depth about it, we have tracked down some additional information (through Access Hollywood):
Matthew, who plays “Glee” club mentor Will Schuester on the hit FOX show, revealed to Access Hollywood he will soon be working on his own album.
“Right now, I’ve almost finalized a record deal and am going to be working on an album,” he told Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush.
And what sort of sound does America’s favorite teacher envision for his debut release?
“It’s going to be different. I would consider it a classier Justin Timberlake album,” he revealed. “It’s going to be me and a big orchestra, but also with beats.”
“Kind of like Timberlake meets [Michael] Buble?” Billy asked.
“Exactly,” Matthew said.
You can enjoy the interview below. Matt is just the cutest. I wish he would serenade me every night.
By the way, Mark Salling (who plays Puck, my new imaginary boyfriend), has just launched his own website. Check out the photo gallery. *sigh* That jaw. There aren't enough words to accurately describe that jaw.
