Gossip Girl continues to be all new throughout the month of February. This week's February 13 episode features Valentine's Day on the Upper East Side, with Blair playing cupid for Serena and Dan (watch a preview). The February 20 episode has Ivy running into Lily and her family as she tries to make her way out of town. In the upcoming February 27 episode, titled "The Princess Dowry", Billy Baldwin makes a return appearance as William van der Woodsen.
According to The CW, a "family crisis" calls William back to New York City. Meanwhile, Blair is still searching for a way out of her marriage with Louis. We learned in a recent episode that if she tried to divorce Louis before he was ready to let her go, she would have to fulfill the prenup's requirement to pay a dowry. The amount of the dowry was never really mentioned, but we're assuming it's enough to keep Blair in the marriage to preserve her family fortune. In "The Princess Dowry", Cyrus may have found a loophole in the prenup, according to Blair. Georgina continues to stick around New York, and in this episode she and Chuck actually team up, but their scheme doesn't exactly go as planned (do they ever?). Plus, the Rhodes women are reunited as Lily's sister Carol also returns.

Dan is so sexy,I'm rooting for dan and blair just caught up with season 4 and 5 and I really love them.I haven't liked a couple this much since Pacey and Joey from Dawson's Creek ,it takes me back to those days and it is a great feeling.I hope the writers continue with them it's a breath of fresh air and brings such a light to the show imho.
Agreed with Lisa, Dair is what the show has been lacking. Its fresh, fun, witty, adorable. And its developing both characters, getting them out of their comfort zones and their different kinds of self importance. I love them.
Agree with you both ,their storyline makes me believe that the show is growing up,moving on and taking risks.I would hate for them to go back to the other couples just because it's safe and they have history.You can love someone else in a completely different way than your first real love and end being the true love.If the other couples failed so many times maybe it's time to move on.Let Dan and Blair make their own history together.I also think it would be a big moment to have the UES Queen end up with the Brooklyn King so to speak and take the show back to where it was supposed to be ,two worlds colliding it fits these two characters to a T.
