Gossip Girl Photos: Jack & Chuck Reunite and Ivy Tries to Take Her Place in New York Society

Gossip Girl Season 5 Episode 18When we last saw the Gossip Girl gang on the Upper East side, Ivy had inherited CeCe Rhodes’ estate, despite the fact that CeCe knew she wasn’t really a Rhodes. After Lily, Carol and Serena had rejected Ivy after her true identity was revealed, she told Lily and Rufus to leave their penthouse, since it now belong to her. When Gossip Girl returns on April 2, Ivy will reach out to William van der Woodsen (guest star Billy Baldwin) to establish her place in high society. But chances are Lily won’t be happy about Ivy using her mother’s money to do it.

Chuck also invites his uncle Jack Bass to New York in order to thank him for saving his life. But with the complicated and often volatile history between these two men, it should come as no surprise that the trip doesn’t go exactly as planned.

Nate also continues his friendship with Lola, while also trying to attract new investors to his newspaper. Want to know more about the return of an old frenemy for Nate? Click here to read spoilers for the April 9 episode.

Finally, Dan and Blair decide to take steps to finally consummate their relationship. Unfortunately, from the looks of this preview, the process doesn’t go very well.

Gossip Girl returns with all new episodes on April 2 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
