Sneak Peek – Gossip Girl 4.09 “The Witches of Bushwick”

Serena is completely driving me crazy on Gossip Girl lately. At the beginning of last night’s episode I was incredibly frustrated, thinking to myself “how about you stop going after unattainable men and then complaining when it doesn’t work out, Serena?” Then by the end I was rolling my eyes and saying “oh, of course it works out for you.” Oy. Despite the fact that I’m not a big fan of either Jenny or Vanessa, right now I’m rooting for the two of them – along with Juliet – to knock Serena down a peg.

Will they succeed? Probably not in a big way, since Serena’s one of the leads of this show. But they might damage her reputation a bit. Regardless, this is a good way of reintroducing Jenny into the storyline this season and giving her something to do. We’ve already posted promo photos for the upcoming November 15 episode of Gossip Girl and now the CW has released a trailer and a sneak peek, which you can watch below.

Chuck (Ed Westwick) hosts a ‘Saints and Sinners’masquerade party at the Empire Hotel. At the party, Dan (Penn Badgley) and Nate (Chace Crawford) don’t know what to make of Serena’s (Blake Lively) strange behavior and mixed messages.

Blair (Leighton Meester) sets her sights on becoming the new face of Anne Archibald’s (guest star Francie Swift) foundation for girls, but Anne is concerned that Blair’s friendship with Chuck Bass may be problematic. Katie Cassidy guest stars as Juliet. Taylor Momsen, Jessica Szohr, Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle also star. Ron Fortunato directed the episode written by Sara Goodman.
