Blair's (Leighton Meester) wedding day approaches which means that the bachelorette party is in order and tonight's episode of Gossip Girl features this time honored tradition. Blair might want to celebrate this event in typical Waldorf fashion but others scheme to make this a night to remember; what could possibly go wrong?
Last week it was revealed that Blair did lose her baby in the accident; something that many viewers speculated would happen, especially after paparazzi photographs surfaced a few months ago of the filming of Blair's bachelorette party sans bump. It looks like things will be getting messy at the celebration with Blair getting a little out of control that could see her landing on the wrong side of the law. Could Blair's bachelorette party antics be her way of letting off steam in light of the big secret that she is keeping and as reaction to losing her baby?
The reason why Blair has decided to go ahead with her marriage to Louis (Hugo Becker) is slightly contentious and didn't have a particularly positive response. The man coming between Blair and Chuck (Ed Westwick) isn't Louis, but God himself and Blair is taking certain moments as a sign from God that she can't be with Chuck. This all sounds a tad too convenient to keep the pair apart for longer, however executive producer Josh Safran claims not and discussed this plot with TVLine saying:
"Religion has [always] been a part of Blair’s life. She went to confession as far back as Season 1. Even though she didn’t fully believe in it, she was there. We really did believe, especially in light of what has happened to Blair after the accident, that she feels even more strongly about this connection and this pull. It's something that we're not shying away from. It's something that we will delve into in future episodes."
Hmm, are we buying this Gossip Girl fans? Do you think that this is an appropriate response for this character or does it seem like a neat trick to thwart a Chuck/Blair reunion? Obstacles are needed for dramatic purposes for a reunion to feel earned, but this direction seems disingenuous. When Serena (Blake Lively) becomes the voice of reason as she explains that modern medicine saved Chuck, you know that something is wrong. Chuck continues to pursue Blair tonight and is determined to find out what really changed Blair's mind.
Dan (Penn Badgley) and Serena are the only people that know Blair's secret and to protect this they continue to pretend that they are dating again. This fake relationship is helping with both of their careers as the sneak peek below shows; Serena is using it as a blog topic to reveal how her life is much better in a post-Gossip Girl New York and thanks to this Dan is receiving more interest for a follow up novel. This would all be very simple for everyone if Serena didn't have rekindled feelings for Dan, something that he is blissfully unaware of. Is Serena going to end up getting hurt?
One big revelation from last week's episode about the crash is that the car that Chuck and Blair were in was actually meant for Nate (Chace Crawford), and it would appear that someone wanted Nate to be the one in the accident. He continues his investigation into who it could be this week with the help from a surprising ally. This ally is the one who alerted him to this car mix up and is none other than Gossip Girl herself/himself. Why would Gossip Girl want to help Nate after The Spectator destroyed her/his site? Who do you think is behind the sabotage?

yehh i wish chuck and blair would become a couple already! i mean its been 2 years since they were properly together. i hope they get together soon :) i think dan and serena will get back together at some point, she hasnt had a serious relationship for a while so this could make her story line more interesting.
