That's right Gossip Girl fans tonight is the mid-season finale and it looks as if Blair (Leighton Meester) might be making that all important big decision about her impending wedding to Louis (Hugo Becker). It's not completely clear who she will choose and you all seem pretty passionate as to who you think Blair should be with, but we do know that there will be plenty of drama tonight.
Relations between Blair and Louis have been frosty since his scheming ways have surfaced and the two have not seen each other in weeks. This is not the basis for a happy marriage but Louis is determined to win back his bride and enlists Serena (Blake Lively) to help with his plans. You would think Serena would be against helping after his bridal shower stunt, but as she explains in the sneak peek below she believes that Louis is the guy who can make all of Blair's dreams come true. As Serena's own storyline explores tonight she really doesn't have the best romantic judgement, so is she really right in thinking that Louis is indeed the real Prince Charming for Blair?
Blair decides that she must escape the hounding paparazzi on the Upper East Side and heads to Brooklyn and Dan (Penn Badgley). This might make Dair fans happy, but don't get your hopes up as it appears that she wants his advice in choosing between Chuck (Ed Westwick) and Louis. It looks like Dan might be offering her a third solution as he decides that it is time to tell her how he really feels, will Blair be too preoccupied with Chuck and Louis to even consider Dan? Also Dan might find that he has a certain ex realizing that he was the best relationship she ever had, as Serena goes through old Gossip Girl blasts to see where her romantic judgement first went wrong (the beginning of time perhaps?!). This looks like it will end in heartbreak for more than one person involved in whatever shape this love triangle has turned into.
Nate (Chace Crawford) appears to be having an easier time than most this week as he settles into his position at The Spectator. Nate's cousin Tripp (Aaron Tveit) makes another appearance after last week's scandal that turned out to be pure fabrication, and is jealous of the golden boy status that Nate has now got in the eyes of their grandfather.
Another person who is riding high on recent success is Charlie (Kaylee DeFer), who is confident that she has managed to keep her real identity a secret despite her ex-boyfriend Max's (Brian J. Smith) best efforts last week. Charlie is more than happy now to have Lily (Kelly Rutherford) throw a party in her honor to introduce her to New York society. This being Gossip Girl however, expect Max to try and disrupt Charlie's aspirations to be an Upper East Side princess. Will the real truth finally come out? And where is the real Charlie Rhodes?
