Tonight on Grey’s Anatomy: New Management Takes Over and McDreamy Deals with a Worried Meredith

Grey's AnatomyLast week’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy left us all in tears after the re-naming of Seattle Grace to Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. Thinking about it now just takes me right back to that last scene. But, tonight, the hospital will continue to make positive changes under the new management.  However, the doctors begin to realize that owning a hospital may not be as easy as they thought it would be.

Tonight, the sex of Derek and Meredith’s unborn baby will be revealed! (Insert your excitement here), But the anticipation has Meredith becoming just a bit paranoid about the wellbeing of her baby. Well, maybe more than ‘just a bit’ when she tells Derek, “If anyone is going to have a baby with two heads, three arms and eleven toes, it’s going to be me.” That was funny, but poor Derek, it seems like he’s the only one being optimistic about the pregnancy. It comes as no surprise as he has been the one more excited of the two since day one. This doctor is definitely facing the biggest challenge of his life with his very worrisome pregnant wife!

Meanwhile, Yang sees that one of her Stanford classmates has been published.  Did I mention he was a year behind her at Stanford? That obviously makes him one smart cookie, right? Yes, of course, but not according to Dr. Yang. She still thinks he’s a high functioning moron. I’m sure we’ll be seeing more of her reaction tonight, but she’s got nothing to worry about, right? She’s now on the board of a cutting edge research oriented hospital with an advanced level one trauma center. Published or not, she’s the best to us.

Also, Callie and Arizona try to get their spark back after a very difficult road to recovery following the devastating plane crash that led to the leg amputation. If you all recall, Arizona has tried to find their intimate spark before, but because of her not being able to do so, they never got to do that “stuff”. Callie is absolutely excited about doing “stuff” that they haven’t done in a long time. Tonight looks to be their special night together.
