Grimm 2.10 Photos: Another Grimm Comes to Portland

Grimm - Season 2For quite a while, Detective Nick Burkhardt has had the eyes of the royal families on him. With his continued improvement at being a Grimm and the sheer rate of Wesen that have been dispatched of (as well as aided), he drew attention from the higher-ups pretty quickly. His reputation preceding him, Burkhardt became known as The Grimm, striking fear into the hearts of certain Wesen while putting others on the defensive. However, Nick will no longer be The Grimm as of Friday’s episode of Grimm, as another of his kind has moved into the area.

Rather than it being a joyous (or at least comforting) occasion, it’s a time for action, as the newest Grimm doesn’t exactly have the noble intentions that Nick does. He doesn’t care about justice, Grimm/Wesen relations, or keeping the greater Portland area in the dark regarding the goings-on in their world – he’s a brutal vigilante much closer to the type of Grimm that most Wesen know. Once he begins wreaking havoc on Portland (and dragging Nick’s reputation down with it), Burkhardt has to try to find a way to become the only Grimm in the city once again. Will he have to kill the new Grimm in order to do so?

Meanwhile on Grimm, Juliette seeks comfort from the problems she’s having in her relationship with Nick…with Captain Renard. The two have yet to be completely alone for an extended amount of time following the kiss at the beginning of the season and with their connection only growing by the day, now may be the time where something physical happens between them.

Grimm airs tomorrow night at 9:00 on NBC. You can check out a recap of the most recent episode here, where Nick and Hank had to track down Mexican urban legend La Llorona. Be sure to click the arrows above to get a look at photos from the episode, including Nick taking down a Wesen.

Why do you think the new Grimm has come to Portland? What will Nick have to do in order to stop him from hurting the Wesen in town? Will the connection between Renard and Juliette intensify with their time alone?
