Hart of Dixie 2.11 Photos: The Pioneer Day Celebration
Lavon Hayes may seem superhuman at times, with his endless charm and ability to keep BlueBell growing, but even a former football great with a strong reputation is a mere mortal. On the next episode of Hart of Dixie, Mayor Hayes has let his duties slip following what happened with Ruby and while in normal times he could get away with an occasional lapse, these are not normal times.
It's Pioneer Day in BlueBell and that means that the entire town will be involved in putting on the celebration; that also means that there'll be publicity about the cultural event and this year, a reporter from Southern Living has been tasked with informing the public about the events in BlueBell. To be able to get positive publicity for the town, which will in turn help their tourism industry, Lavon will have to rely on his loved ones to help make up for his poor performance recently. While Lemon and AnnaBeth use the opportunity to garner publicity for their catering business through putting on the First Feast, Zoe and Wade volunteer to play the town's founding couple. Will an enthusiastic group of friends be enough to bail Lavon out during a trying personal time?
Elsewhere on Hart of Dixie, George offers Brick advice on how to handle his new relationship with Shelby. But will Brick swallow his pride and actually listen to what George has to say? The two haven't exactly been on great terms following the break-up with Lemon and while they might have gotten to a place of civility, they're not as close as they once were.
Hart of Dixie returns from winter hiatus Tuesday, January 15th at 8:00 on The CW. Be sure to click the arrows above in order to get a look at photos from the episode. You can also check out a preview for the episode here.
What advice will George give Brick about dating? Will BlueBell get a good write-up in Southern Living? How long will Mayor Hayes be in a funk for?
