Hart of Dixie 2.19 Spoilers: Who Will Play Romeo & Juliet?

Shilo Adams March 27, 2013 6

hart of dixieZoe and George are in a weird place in their friendship. While the two have feelings for one another that have yet to be manifested into something romantic, they’ve each made peace with the fact that they might not ever get together – and that’s okay. With George already in a committed relationship with Tansy, Zoe’s breakup with Wade seemed likely to lead her on a path toward self-discovery, figuring out the type of guy she wants to be with, and coming to an understanding about who she is while in a relationship. But why are she and George playing Romeo & Juliet on an upcoming episode of Hart of Dixie?

Listed below are the title and description of the April 16th episode of Hart of Dixie, its second back from hiatus.

Tuesday, April 16th – “This Kiss”
When the town decides to put on a performance of Shakespeare’s most iconic scenes, George (Scott Porter) and Zoe (Rachel Bilson) refuse to play Romeo and Juliet, but eventually agree just to prove to everyone that they are over each other. Lemon (Jaime King) and Wade (Wilson Bethel) are excited about taking over the reigns at the Rammer Jammer, but things come to a halt when they lose all the staff two days before opening. Meanwhile, Brick (Tim Matheson) decides to offer a week of free counseling to everyone in BlueBell and winds up helping the two most unlikely people, but in his effort to help others he learns a secret he has been keeping from himself.

Hart of Dixie airs Tuesdays at 8:00 on The CW. You can check out a recap of the most recent episode here, as well as spoilers and photos from the next episode here and here.

Will George and Zoe be able to perform the classic Shakespeare scene without letting their feelings for one another take over? Can Lemon and Wade get the Rammer Jammer staffed up for its grand re-opening? What secret do you think Brick has been keeping from himself?

First of all, Romeo and Juliet were teenagers, so it would make more sense if Rose and Max played the parts. Second, haven’t we visited the Zoe/George pairing enough times already? Third, if they wanted star-crossed lovers in the parts they should have cast Zoe and Wade. I for one am sick of Zoe and Geoege even pretending to be lovers…they never were and never should be…they bore you to death. I and zillions of fans watch the show to follow the love story of Zoe and Wade…it’s all that matters. If the writers don’t work on this, there won’t be any viewers.

It doesn’t matter during the time Romeo and Juliet was on Broadway they weren’t teens either. No play other then high schools and movies actually has them played by teens

I agree, I’m over Zoe and George. No one but their 2 fans will care if they get together. Haven’t we been down this road already when they realized they were okay with not being together? George is good with Tansy so I hope they don’t have him screw her over for Zoe. I think Brick may be sick or something and have been in denial because I can’t really see how you can keep a secret from yourself other than that.

Please no more George and Zoe… I’m bored already with that story line and they haven’t even been together!!!!

Well i for one am NOT sick of the zoe/george saga, as it has hardly had a chance to go anywhere. Just when you think that something is getting started between them, it just doesn’t happen. I for one NEVER got the zoe/wade thing. I thought it seemed forced, and they’re just not a good match. I, and my peeps that watch it, agree…no more zoe/wade…PLEASE!

Love love love zoe and wade will not watch if they don’t get back together!! I keep watching the big day and blue Christmas to hold me over!!
