After patching things up recently on Hart of Dixie, George and Wade are now on okay terms. They’re not best friends and they’re not going to be braiding each other’s hair anytime soon, but they’re now able to be in the same room at the same time without things becoming too painful for either them or the people they’re with. That’s arguably due to each being in relationships that fulfill them emotionally and the understanding that by living in a small town, they’re guaranteed to be around one another quite a bit. But what would happen if the two were forced to work together on something and really confront the issues that remain between them?
On the February 19th episode of Hart of Dixie, the two will have to work together, since Wade has decided to enter the Battle of the Bands to earn money for his bar dream and George just so happens to be able to sing. The one responsible for the fragile partnership? Zoe, of course, as she suggests that George join Wade’s band for the gig. In theory, it’s not a bad idea; having George can only increase Wade’s chances of taking the money home and being able to open his bar sooner and the time together could strengthen the friendship between her boyfriend and the town lawyer, eliminating any lingering awkwardness between them. However, there’s still something there that has to be exorcised and until it is, expect there to be a power struggle the likes Mattress Police has never encountered before or will encounter again.
Elsewhere on Hart of Dixie, Lemon spends a lonely weekend bonding with Magnolia, while Lavon’s relationship advice to Tom ends up helping the both of them.
