The Sopranos, The Wire and Six Feet Under Hit Amazon Prime Today

It’s an amazing day for binge watchers, as HBO’s deal with Amazon finally is coming to fruition. Per the massive agreement, older HBO shows like The Sopranos, Six Feet Under, The Wire, Rome, Big Love, Deadwood, Eastbound & Down, Enlightened, a limited number of seasons of Boardwalk Empire and True Blood, are now all available to stream on Amazon Prime.

Where to start?

The Wire – One of my favorite shows of all time, if not my #1 pick. The show so real, it doesn’t even feel like a TV show. Works really well binge-watched.

The Sopranos – The ultimate classic HBO show. Can be a bit hard to binge on given how huge and deep it is, but it’s absolutely worthwhile.

Rome/Deadwood – Two of HBO’s shortest offerings which are prime binge-watching candidates at two and three seasons apiece. Both are fantastic, but I really, really love Deadwood especially.

Sorry, no Game of Thrones, folks! HBO is keeping most of its newer series close to its chest. Some seasons of Boardwalk Empire and True Blood are only on the table because both those series are on the verge of ending. They’ll likely be release in their entirety at some point, but not yet.

Why are you still reading this? Go start watching!
