tbag4Hot off the series finale of Prison Break, actor Robert Knepper – who portrayed the nefarious T-Bag – has snagged a plum role in the fourth season of NBC's Heroes.  Along with news of the actor's casting, a few spoilerish details were released regarding his character and it's relation to the plot of Heroes' next volume.  Skip ahead for more details.

Knepper, whose repertoire includes numerous slimely self-serving villains, will play a character named Samuel who is described as being Jim Jones like.  Knepper is signed to appear in six episodes of Heroes, so it should be safe to predict that a major part of the season will deal with some cult like activity.  Then again, the Jim Jones analogy could be used to imply that Knepper's Samuel possesses a power similar to the infamouse cult leader's svengali like hold over many of his followers.

Heroes is currently scheduled to return February 2nd, 2010 in the family friendly time slot of 8:00pm est.
