HaydenHeroes is famous for being the show that never changes. Even after the death of Nathan, they still found a way to keep him on the show by brainwashing Sylar to appear as Nathan, and they're also keeping Sylar as an entity in Parkman's head!

In another testament to the show's unwillingness to change, pictures taken from the set of season four show high school graduate Claire (Hayden Panettiere) is still in a cheerleading costume!

I realize that "Save the cheerleader, save the world" was a big motif for season one, but honestly, can't the writers of Heroes just start to move on? Take a look at more set pics of Claire over at SpoilerTV.

To be fair, last season Claire did exactly no cheerleading.

The vast majority of girls who are cheerleaders in high school later go on to try and be cheerleaders in college. And this actually is a change for the show. For the past two seasons, we've had to deal with Claire running around trying to be a hero and all that. Now Claire is going back to her roots. To me this is a sign of the first season where we had extraordinary people with ordinary problems. That's what made Heroes great.

She isn't cheerleading this season, they are filming a flashback episode called "Once upon a time in Texas".
