The next season of Heroes (entitled "Volume 5: Redemption") is set to premiere on September 21, 2009.  In anticipation of this, we've compiled a list of spoilers for the new season, with information on new characters, returning characters and storylines.  So if can't wait until the season premiere in September, take a peak below for information.

Kurtz, Swoosie

Swoosie Kurtz

Millie: Swoosie Kurtz first appeared as Angela Petrelli's friend, Millie, late in Volume 4.  According to the ODI, she's set to return in Volume 5.  In fact, we will learn more about Millie's past and her daughter.  Millie's storyline will also be connected to the Petrelli family and their own shocking secret.

Nathan Petrelli: We will learn more about Nathan's childhood in Volume 5.  In an EW article, Adrian Pasdar says: "I absorb a memory from an article of clothing that sends me back in time to when I was 11," he explains. "Something happened to young Nathan but old Nathan doesn't remember it. How can that be? It has to do with a character we have met before."  Nathan is Sylar, but we should expect to see Adrian Pasdar and Zachary Quinto next year.

Claire Bennett: Claire will be heading off to college (in Washington D.C., I believe) this fall.  She's set to get a new roommate named Annie (played by Rachel Melvin, who is joining the cast as a recurring character).  EW suggests that the girls will be getting very close: I'm not sure about a full-blown relationship, but I can confirm that the college roomies will engage in a little Sapphic experimentation. At least that's the plan.  Digital Spy also says that Claire will also be dealing with her parents' divorce and will get a shock in the first episode when she finds a body on the sidewalk.

Angela Petrelli: We will also learn more about Angela's past next season.  Christina Rose has revealed that in episode 3: "I learned that 20 years ago, Angela made a decision that is going to come back to bite her in her rear end. Angela tries her best, but she keeps screwing up." Rose added that in the same episode, there will be a "huge change" for Mama Petrelli.

Matt Parkman: Matt will be struggling with the guilt of his role in the Sylar/Nathan situation.  Greg Grunberg recently Twittered that he will be beating up Zachary Quinto's Sylar early in the season.  Matt will also be getting a new partner, played by Rick Worthy.

But there's also a new, sinister organisation on the scene - one that treats people with abilities in a "dangerous and potentially deadly new way".

The Carnival: This new "sinister" organization the Sullivan Brothers Carnival and will consist of many new characters, including newcome Samual (played by Robert Knepper).  IGN shares more details about the Carnival: This carnival is a roving band of people blessed with special abilities. They are powerful, but they hide in the shadows, performing on the outskirts of towns and cities. But all of that is about to change.  Dawn Oliveri will be playing Lydia, another member of the Carnival.  She is am empath and a tattoo lady.  Samual uses her abilities to find other special people around the world and considers her a valuable asset.

  1. I have to say thanks to you for this blog post, it is quite helpful and handy. I've had many bad encounters with spyware and adware, and it's incredibly aggravating to deal with. One time My spouse and i needed to re-install Windows xp as a consequence of some simple malware which i never took proper care of. Another time I experienced some words randomly expressing products to my family about some device My spouse and i won, it was very disheartening. Let me bookmark your blog and come back again frequently. Thank you again
