House fans, have you been unable to sleep at night due to the fact that Jennifer Morrison might not return to your beloved show? Are thoughts of never seeing Allison Cameron again fodder for recurring nightmares?
Yeah, we didn't think so. But if you were wanting to see a bit more of Chase's estranged wife on the highly-rated medical drama, then fear no more; she's coming back, folks!
That's right. We last saw Cameron leaving Chase's apartment in tears after she found herself no longer able to work with House, while Chase wished to stay. Storywise, this comes as a result of Chase's decision to end the life of African dictator Dibala (James Earl Jonse), which made Cameron feel that he did not appreciate the sanctity of human life.
Realitywise, Cameron was probably written out due to the difficulty in distinguishing between Cameron and relative newcomer Thirteen, who remained on the show, due to the similarities between the characters.
But that doesn't matter, because Cameron will be making a return later on in House's sixth season, Entertainment Weekly is reporting.
Sources confirm to me exclusively that Jennifer Morrison is heading back to House later this season. The timing and context of her return are being kept under wraps (read: I know but it’s too spoilery to reveal), but a House insider says, “You will see Cameron again on House before the end of the season.”
While I don't really think that viewing of House can be "spoiled" by plot details, it's right there in black and white, folks. Morrison will be returning to the show, though it's unknown for how long or for what reason.
Of course, Cameron's absence was never a permanency. Shore is currently trying to figure out the truth of where Cameron's supposed to be right now, and "if she fits into the hospital...and as far as I know, they don't know," Cameron divulged at a Star Trek DVD party.
How do you think it will happen? Is she back for good or will she only be back for an episode or two? And why?
