Last week at The Wiltern in Los Angeles stars gathered to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, including soon to be How I Met Your Mother guest stars Jorge Garcia and Nicole Scherzinger who both performed at the event (alongside others such as Jack Nicholson, Danny DeVito and Glee's Lea Michelle and Matthew Morrison). Entertainment Weekly spoke to the pair about their upcoming guest spots, neither we know are going to be the mother of the title as Garcia jokingly pointed out:
“I can’t say much about the episode but I can assure you that I am not the mother. It looks like it is the Thanksgiving episode. I am not a super villain. I come in as a friend of one of the main characters. It was a lot of fun working with them.”
It has been previously reported that Garcia will play Blitz, a friend of Ted, Lily and Marshall's from college who has an bad habit of leaving the room just before the action gets started and has missed out on epic events for over twelve years. I'm very much looking forward to Garcia's turn on HIMYM for several reasons; we know he can do comedy as seen in his appearance in season four of Curb Your Enthusiasm and by his work in Lost, it will be great to see Garcia on TV again and because the Thanksgiving episodes of HIMYM are a highlight of the season.
Former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger reiterates what we have previously reported regarding her past relationship with Robin:
“My character’s name is Jessica Glitter. I am Robin’s best friend from when she was Robin Sparkles. We had a famous show in Canada and I blow back into her life. We just might be unearthing another embarrassing music video from back in the day.”
