Justified is back in less than a week. If you're not really excited by that sentence, you obviously haven't seen this fantastic show. Season 2 elevated the series from thoroughly entertaining fare to one of the best shows on television, and it looks like the trend just might continue for Justified season 3. We've seen the first few episodes, and trust us, they're good.
We've got a few photos from the kick-ass season three premiere, titled "The Gunfighter." The photos are only taken from one scene rather early on in the episode, when Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins) comes to pay Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) a visit at the marshal's office. As you might can imagine, Boyd's a little angry that Raylan robbed him of his opportunity to get revenge on Dickie Bennett (Jeremy Davies). After all, the events of the season 2 finale "Bloody Harlan" saw Dickie shoot Boyd's girlfriend Ava (Joelle Carter). Dickie was arrested at the end of that episode after Raylan stopped Boyd from killing Dickie in retaliation.
Of course, these photos only capture a small bit of one of Justified's best episodes. That's a bold claim, I know, but "The Gunfighter," which introduces two great new villains, will almost certainly leave you reeling.
