New episodes of Life Unexpected continue to air and on the April 5 episode Cate goes in search of her father. The CW has released promo photos and a synopsis, which you can view below.

With her wedding on the horizon, Cate (Shiri Appleby) decides to take a road trip with Lux (Britt Robertson) to find her father, Gordon (guest star Peter Horton), who abandoned her when she was a little girl.

Meanwhile, when Bug's (guest star Rafi Gavron) 'friends'trash Baze's (Kristoffer Polaha) bar, Lux invites Baze to join her and Cate on the road trip, allowing Bug some time to repair the bar before Baze discovers the truth. Kerr Smith and Austin Basis also star.
