In case you LOST your place, here are just a few of the overhanging questions for LOST fans that ‘hopefully’ will be answered in just a short few answers. And, some of my better guesses as to the answers. Let’s go:
Is Sayid Jacob?
As I explained in my predictions article at UGO, I don’t believe that Jacob is inhabiting Sayid. I think Jacob’s interest in Sayid has much more to do with Sayid’s potential for violence. I even think that Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse wrote in a cue to this in last week’s episode when Sayid showed up to bust down the door. Sayid is Jacob’s dirty-deeds man, he just doesn’t know it yet.

I'm inclined to agree with you in regards to Sayid being Jacob's 'dirty-deeds' man. I thought briefly about the correlation between Ben being saved (he did some dirty deeds, but were they guided by Jacob?) and Sayid's resurrection. Personally, I'm more excited about this season that I have been since Season One. (Or perhaps that's a Darlton-fulfilling prophecy of sorts. Didn't they say that this season would remind us of the first season?) Either way, my interest is uber-piqued!
I kind of get the feeling that Sayid never died to begin with. When Miles was looking over his body, he seemed confused like he couldn't get any reception from Sayid's body, which would indicate him not being dead. Of course, anyone else get the idea that Jack's touch might have healed him?

What if Sayid is the baby of the smoke monster??? Another form of evil spreading and that is why the water was dark when it was once clear????
